That's the test, in that game he defended well but because of his size those things don't require a lot of effort. Souths win and he scores but Boyd catches and throws it to him and he stands out on the wing swotting away 60kg backs and running the whole field.
His two hat-tricks have come against Wynnum who have had 194 points against them in six games and 12th place and Capras 156 points and 11th place.
Two against Dolphins- last and Bears 10th.
He didn't do it against Norths when they beat them and are in first. They made him make efforts and double efforts and ran other big guys at him and he came up with mistakes.
You can only perform against who you're up against and he's playing in his age group but people that see that and say well he can play NRL- not a lot of 60kg wingers in NRL and you can't stand out there in an NRL game.
He has a hell of a lot to learn about football and playing. Finals next week and he's going to come up against Norths again and the final will probably be Norths v Souths. He missed the final last year with his knee and finger so chance to win MM and then move on to Colts.
Once he plays a few Colts I'd love to see Souths throw him in ISC just so it levels him a bit and knows where the standard is. Storm/Falcons just did it with Johns not because his form screamed it but so he knows right that's different to Colts and knows where the bar is set.

Dunno sorry, he's up there on the top point scorer list but outside of Q Cup there's not really any meaningful stats for Colts and Mal Meninga Cup. Just have to crawl through the draw list and look at who's scoring tries and kicking goals, that's bout all the info you get. Only one game he hasn't scored a try in though.

Has Hass played the full 80 in the front row? I missed a section either side of half time so didn’t see if he got a break or not?

I was interested to see that Brock Diment is playing in the MM Cup for Norths Devils. I remember Talanoa saying last year that he was a great prospect but was signed by the Bulldogs. He's come from the Western Mustangs (along with Corey Paix) so it seems strange that the Bulldogs would move him down to a Broncos feeder club. Does anyone know the story there?

Really looking forward to the live stream of the MM finals. Some good Broncos kids to see including Jordan Riki at Norths. He has flown under the radar because of Fifita, Paix etc but he must have potential if the Broncs bought him over from NZ.
