Revenge is a dish best served cold. Get TPJ to do to T.Sims and Graham what he did to JT2 and their pack will fold like a shitty poker hand

The Drags looked shocking against Souths. If the boys don’t turn up like they did last year against shit teams then we’ll win by 40+. Their middle forwards are in deep trouble.

I'll tell you what, I dare say Glenn may be our worst forward right now. (Not saying he's bad, but the rest of the guys are really standing up)

Our best line-up post round 4 may legitimately be..

8. Lodge
9. McCullough
10. Pangai Jr
11. Fifita
12. Gillett
13. Ofahengaue

14. Staggs
15. Su'A
16. Flegler
17. Haas

Use TPJ in short bursts like we did tonight, use Joffa as more of a big minutes, high motor player in the middle, use Su'A as a replacement edge back rower on the right with Gillett moving to Lock to spell Joffa in the 2nd half, use Flegler & Haas in short bursts in the middle.

I like all of that.

Looks good, so much diversity there to . Sua & pangai could also go to lock . Options a plenty

Agree completely with that line up and was thinking the same thing post match.

I tell you what though. With the emergence of these young forwards churning off the production line with the success so far of Flegler this season and with the highly rated Carrigan in the shadows, I also feel that Gillett also should be looking over his shoulder. I’m not saying to drop him he is obviously still one of our better forwards when on song but I feel over the years his attack has gone down the wayside and it’s no secret that the forwards coming through have significantly more attacking prowess so I don’t think him being our highest paid forward with his most recent neck injury and his age should be a given. I really hope that Seibold can get Gillett to rediscover his attacking game so that we get the best out of the team. At the moment Gillett without his attacking game is just a 2019 version of Dallas Johnson.

At the end of the day we are going to have to make some huge and hard decisions in the near future in regards to our cap and where we are spending it. Signing Oates and TPJ to long term lucrative deals is an absolute priority. Obviously we have Haas long term now and need to sign guys like Fifita and Flegler long term now before their value sky rockets. If we were to have to lose some players from our forward pack to keep who we want, Glenn would be first on the chopping block. I also think we wouldn’t miss Su’a as much as we think if push came to shove.

a hat-trick in a trial game is fantastic, but he's going to be under the pump again soon.

Sua is a young up and comer, how can you say we wouldn't miss him. Him and Fifita are penciled in as our future backrowers , luckily seibold thinks the same.

Surely with the late release of McGuire and kahu in the off season we should have some cap space to keep these promising young guns

Thing with Glenn is, his best and worst are not too far apart. He didn't do a lot tonight but the game didn't play to either his or gillet's strengths as the line was hardly threatened, nor was his inside man playing that we'll.
Id wait until we have faced a more enterprising back line before calling for his dropping.

It was meant to come across as after Glenn, I’d rather lose Su’a than lose any of the other current forward pack. I have TPJ, Lodge, Ofa, Gillett (if he rediscovers his best) Fifita, Haas in front on the pecking order. And the way Flegler has started his career he’d be almost on an even keel value wise. It isn’t a shot at Su’a but that’s what my priorities would be.

It’s a shot at him. The kid played injured with busted ankles all last year and still played well. Finally broke the ankle clean and is just getting back into it and showed tonight he can play 2nd row, centre, lock and prop. He has a Lot more value than u think and seibs knows it.

Glenn is still valueable. It’s his last year but he is extremely valuable to us this season.

Win by 40+..

Why do people keep saying this?

Glenn was better than Sua’a ainec.

Not one for fat shaming but the fucker is fat
