Us winning getting the win but Jordy bagging a try or two would be a nice, I'd take that.

How good is it to belt the cowgirls and their much feared forward pack
This, this and more of THIS.

It feels incredible beating our main nemesis but what feels even better is our defense. It was beautiful to watch. We were intense. We hit hard. We were enthusiastic. We were on a mission. It was great. Simply a very very good defensive performance.

Attack was good too. You can see we are playing the ball quicker and tonight, it helped massively. Still clunky though and in the opposition 20 metres, we look unsure. Need to work on that and get better.

Over all, we should all be very happy and proud. We were the Broncos tonight.

Pangai take a bow, he really laid the foundation for our win tonight with an early mission to show he was going to terrorise the opposition forwards and halves combined with quality metre gaining and a superb try easily MOTM tonight. That was a forward leadership performance right there.

Flegler was outstanding for his second game and deserves more opportunities to impress and that was easily Bird's best game of the season.

Overall what impressed me most was the young forwards response after last week getting dominated and schooled. We were up against a quality experienced pack, they may have LOST JT2 but that was also a product of the domination we showed early on. I was concerned how they would respond but they did us proud.

Dissapointed we didn’t put 40 on them.
Loved TPJ, Flegler and seeing niko bark out on the field.
Bird is only a few weeks away from his best which is very exciting.
Milford I thought was a little dissapointing. Niko played well, and had a few decent kicks throughout the 80.
Not sure what the story was with isaako’s boot, was so reliable last year and seems to put many hours into practicing, so hopefully he was just a little off tonight.
Boyd was good, as was macca I thought. Oates and jimmy bagging doubles was also a positive.

I can’t help but feel the cowgirls were well off tonight. Morgan was MIA but I also think a lot of that had to do with the kick pressure and lack of space we were giving him. Lolo was clearly injured in the early minutes which had a massive impact on their game plan.
I think if we didn’t get on top early off the back of tpj the game would have been totally different. The same start next week will only build our confidence.

Can we cite the refs for the disgusting penalty right at full time that gifted the Cowgirls and undeserved try? I’ve seen tons of games much closer than this where the leading team runs puts, surrender tackles or boots it out on the full with no issues?

Is this gonna be a new rule that you can’t deliberately throw the ball out no matter where you are on the scoreboard?? It’ll be a dangerous precedent that the NRL with no doubt **** up.

I thought Jayd’n Su’a was very strong in the middle tonight as well.

Seibold managed that game fantastically.

You can't deliberately throw a forward pass. Fairly certain that's what he got done for.

It was what happened and why we got pinged for it, Isaako purposely threw it forward, penalty was justified. He should have taken a tackle.

It was a no try, and both penalties were correct calls.

Great response to last week,

I don’t care where he plays, but TPJ needs to start! I’d shift Gillett back and put TPJ in at lock.

Bird, Macca & Boyd had solid games

**** me isakoo missed a few tonight, could’ve been 40

Thanks for the clarification- was listening in the car and the commentators made it sound like he threw the ball forward out to the sideline.

Then again it’s not outside the realm of possibility for the refs to “suck” on the Cowgirls tits. :roflmao::roflmao:

Um yeah McGuire tackle was a shoulder charge . But a good one lol.

Seibs managed the forwards brilliantly. Su’a can play anywhere in the forwards. MasterStrike TPJ kill it for 18 mins break and then kill it again.
