Mate there is at least half a dozen blokes doing the same in the ISC. The only difference is they are paid a fraction of what he is on and they can catch a ball too. He' s average at best.

I'm not entirely convinced McCullough has mastered the talent of throwing his torso at legs. He keeps missing and ends up in a full body hug.
 
How many more can we lose before the top 4 is gone? We probably already have a 0.05% chance of making it, but once it's officially out of reach the season's over.
 
This is seriously uncharted territory, I've never seen a Broncos team lose games like this in my entire time as a fan.

Seibold has pretty much inherited this roster, so there's not a whole lot of blame that can go to him apart from his interchange use, which has been nearly as bad as Bennett's last year, Carrigan should've come on earlier and shouldn't have gone off, I have no idea why Ofahengaue keeps getting second stints, his second stints have cost us 2 games by my calculations, he's that out of shape he is incapable of making tackles in the second half of games, absolutely shocking and deserves to be dropped because of his match fitness.

Also, we need to seriously start considering measuring players intelligence levels before we sign them, I know that might sound harsh, but I think 1-17 we have the stupidest team in the NRL. These guys lack so much situational awareness and collective reasoning in clutch situations that it's almost impressive how many incorrect decisions they make per game. We could have the most talented team in the competition, but without intelligence, we're not going anywhere. Look at our opposition tonight, they're not talented, they're a bog average roster with intelligent game managers, Farah, Brooks, Reynolds, they know what to do and where to put their team to win footy games week after week, everything they do has thought and preparation behind it. Everything our halves do has absolutely no cohesion, training or planing by the looks of it, these guys have taken their "X-Factor" label quite literally and seemingly have no interest in forming or working to a game plan that can reliably win us football games.

All I can say to Seibold is good luck, because this team needs a complete overhaul if we want to win a premiership, or 4-5 years of completely reinstalling the way they play football on a fundamental level.

Nothing’s changed. We were shit last year. All that talk about our amazing squad was all hype.

Not just the last set it's the two sets we had in their 10m... milf and boyd lined up on the left for 2 sets screaming for the ball and fucking moron keeps passing right and is saved by the ref passing to Lodge on the last inside the 10.

The guy is deadset brain dead and I'm done with him. Don't fucking care who comes in for him at the moment. I can't think of a worse all round game that he's had.

They were even picking him out in defence and Mahe ran over him more than once
 
Bird was shit too. 2 dropped balls and looked terrible in defence, they got around him so easily. Ended up with the most missed tackles too.

At least he had some idea how to use them.

There's no way this is an issue of talent, we've seen what they can do against the Cowboys, that's the only time this year Seibold ha got them pumped for a game.

He's clearly a rookie coach who has a lot of learning, it's no surprise Bennett has walked into the Rabbitohs and they've been a really good team from round 1.

I don't recall a single season under Bennett where I thought we had no chance at the business end and while it's too early to call I've got serious, serious concerns about us even making the 8 this year.

If we miss the 8 that is absolutely and utterly on Seibold. There is no excuses, we are a top 4 roster.

This. That last set Macca was a speed bump in defence, he let them get an extra 40m. He has to go, or at least be subbed.

That last try, MCK had 4 broncos around him and everyone thought the other guy was gonna make the tackle. Think it was milf, Joffa, haas, Kodi??? Was disgraceful, similar to the roosters last try.

These guys don’t try for each other. Something stinks.

Too late to get JD back as coach?

Yup I'll pay that. At least they all moved towards the ball carrier in some way though, thought Joe's effort was the laziest of the lot.
 
One of my bigger gripes of the night came around the 10-15 minute mark. Fatty commented on how well we had been playing and actually credited it to Gorden Tallis' comments during the week.

We finished one win within the minor premiers.

If you think we wouldn't be doing better with Bennett as coach right now you need your head read.

The season IS over. Nevermind this "it's only round 5" nonsense, we're DONE. The team is way too young to recover from a start like this, and we sure as hell can't rely on our senior blokes because nearly all of them don't deserve to be fed at the moment. Extending Boyd and McC and not getting our hands on a decent halfback have been monumental disasters.
 
The thing is, even though Macca is on a poor run, we could easily play to his strengths by just letting him take the sting out of the game and putting Niko on for impact and spark. Instead, we just persist with him for 80. We have to use what we have smarter.
 
Milf is fucking shit for the money he is on. Joey Johns nailed it today when he said for a million a season, you have to be the go-to man every game. Milf is like a lost little schoolboy out there. I have been heaping shit all week on Nikorima but I accused the wrong bloke. Kodi has no real game management skills but he looks like he is trying harder and is way more dangerous with the ball than Milford.

Seibold you dumb fucking Harvard graduate! Seriously, why even select Carrigan and play him for 7 minutes. Why keep on giving Macca chance after chance to **** our important plays up. What do you do at training all week to play this badly in an actual game. Seriously, for the first time I am actually scared we are stuck with this thick-headed, pig ignorant numbskull for 5 years. What the **** have we, our management done! I wanted Bennett gone but **** me what a god awful mess we are in.
