The objective for this game should be ball control, ball control, ball control.

Stick to the gameplan, when we hold the ball we've shown it works and we create opportunities. We just need to stop dropping the fucking ball so much and blowing those opportunities and fix our completion rate.

I would like to see us target the Raiders right side. Leilua will always be a liability for the Raiders. If we can isolate him and get him frustrated, we'll get results.

They are very very confident over at the Greenhouse (probably with good cause).

To be honest, they only reason I'm feeling any confidence is because surely they'll lift to avoid being 1 from 6.

Yes, well that did not play out so well last round did it??

Ball control is an obvious issue, but I really see it as statistical noise. The kinds of errors we've been making - most of the time we'll be making fewer of them and I don't really see them as indicative of a culture or coaching problem. You don't forget how to catch, we've just been unlucky there.

What is absolutely destroying us though is the offloads. Usually a team that spends as much time as we have behind on the scoreboard will end up winning offload counts. We've conceded 13.8 offloads a game to teams that average 8.4 in games where they aren't playing against the Broncos. Teams have been offloading 64% more against us then their other opponents, and until we fix that we'll be doomed to surrender late-game leads if we're even in a position to hold them in the first place.

I have faith. If we can just get rid of McCullough I'm sure our players will just stop dropping everything. It's simple mathematics really. 17 Broncos - 1 McCullough = Perfect Game

If McCullough can make 60 tackles this game. We win.

Always knew you as a man with his finger on the pulse.

From what I've seen this year, if Boyd can just make one tackle we will win.

That's literally been the difference. We can shit on everyone else all we want, if everything else in all of these games remained the same except for Boyd refusing to make efforts in defense I think we're probably 3 wins & 2 losses, maybe even 4 wins & 1 loss.

Boyd being out of his depth as captain and player is a bhq conspiracy theory.

That's a pretty simplistic way of looking at it. I thought I was on one of those FB pages for a sec. A try saving tackle changes the sequence of events, they may score on the very next play or force a goal line drop out and scored on the next set. What about the tries that he has saved? That one on Tedesco was a doozy. I know some fans like to blame individuals when struggling but this poor form has been a team effort. Very few players are doing the job required to be a force in this comp. They just aren't a very good side and haven't been for almost a decade, the difference being this year is they don't have the Bennett influence to inspire them to achieve above and beyond.

What is more likely to happen?

- Boyd and McCullough lead us to premiership glory, showcasing their pure footballing ability and setting the standard for the team with incredible leadership.

Or

- The most powerful people in the world simulate an Alien invasion in order to form a one world government. Using our own aircraft disguised as Alien aircraft.

Yeah that's crap. The real difference has been dropping the ball over the try line 3 times a game. It's not really one persons fault. Our inability to hold onto the ball as a team has lost us every game this year. I know it's fun to blame Boyd and McCullough and having numerous people agree with their posts every time they say it, but it's just not a realistic view.

There's more of a chance of the 2nd one happening than going through an entire thread without someone saying we should sack McCullough or Boyd
