First time in a while I've felt good on Friday. Hope I've seen the last of those Thursday night games.

Yep. Milford and niko are our weakest links in defence and are targetted every game.

Milford can be a great defender, he only needs to apply himself 100% for 100% of the time he is defending. Knik is an arm grabber which is why I can never support him as a hooker at any stage of the game. His attack is good. His defence can be fucking awful too often, when it needs to be fucking 100% excellent if he is to play half.

whilst Roberts at hooker would be a disaster (he doesn't work hard enough in defence and is a bit suspect), I wish he would push himself into dummy half and run the way Hodges did after a forwards has bent or broken the line.
The problem is his pass is so-so and he doesn't seem to have the ability to set up his wing like many a good centre. He, of course, makes up for it with his breaks and that blistering speed but its something he needs to work on (it'll extend his shelf life as everyone gets slower).
If he can't get it right I'd like to see him swap with his wing occasionally (not consistently) in attack. It'd put off defenders and just give a little variety without changing too much. There are plenty of big wingers out there and a more agile bloke like Roberts going up against them, running around them or with a kick through the line would be a nightmare, particularly with a stacked blindside and an open side starved of defenders. He does the kick chase at centre but they are usually set up to defend against it.

Can cook tackle himself silly though ?

Cook tackles per game in 2018 - 42.4
McCullough tackles per game in 2018 - 41.8

Macca did have a couple of games shortened by injury, though the point stands. Cook is equally as effective defensively as McCullough and still finds a way to be as great in attack as he is. Freak.

You can say that about anyone though. Milf's defence is right up there with Maloney to be honest.

If the Nutless Professor really loves Macca he should sell him to a Japanese Rugby club. He'd make an excellent breakaway. That's his natural position in my opinion.

I've kind of given up on Roberts developing his game past his big runs around the defense. It's why I think he's got a limited amount of time left as an NRL stadard player. If he loses his speed, it's game over.

Too slow.

Seibold must miss cook most out of all players he had at the rabbits. Maybe Reynolds too.

How many of those were missed or ineffective tackles by both of them mate?
