I used to think that but he was really good against the Bullgrubs. The ease with which he skipps to the outside of defenders and throws cutout passes onto the chest of an winger or centre was impressive. Isaako certainly has more potential but he is surely on the verge of displaying that potential in the ISC the way he has been playing.

There are some players who are fanatically talked up in the media but have so little ability. Gutherson, Pearce, Widdop. Gidley used to be. Aaron Woods used to be.

I actually like the way Gutherson plays, always have.
He plays a lot like Munster, but doesn’t seem like a douche and can string a sentence together.
All that said, whilst I think he’d absolutely be an improvement at 1 for us, that’s not our glaring problem right now. Everyone knows we need a 7 that steers the team around and a more dynamic 9 with better game awareness.
If / when we get them, with the rest of the team we have, it really wouldn’t matter who we had at 1.
