Broncos Player Movement and Rumours 2020

Wouldn't it be so nice to see the end of Boyd @ 1 for us? Let's hope it's not JUST speculation but a reality bound to happen VERY SOON.

That aside, during GI's retirement announcement, I am bemused when Shane Richardson spoke. South's want to recognize GI for his services at their "next" home game which is fair but, why does he have to stress that it is against Broncos and stress more that it will be Boyd's 300th so it will be exciting? This has stuck with me since. Been wondering of a remote chance of it happening soon since.

I reckon the media shit heads threw a curve ball in all this and started reporting that Souths are going to poach Jimmy when in reality(?) they want Boyd.

Mr. Boyd - I understand you want to be close to Wayne as you have that 'connection' with him. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Working under a new Manager many not suit everyone. In everyone's life, we all want to be working for a Manager who cares, protects and mentors us every step of the way. We cherish that and excel in those scenarios. If you still think Wayne is that person to you especially with the playing years left for you, then do us all Broncos fans a favor in packing your bags IMMEDIATELY. You're more than welcome to take Andrew.M with you. We all will arrange a red carpet departure for you guys.

It's Boyd's 300th? Hopefully this is the only reason he has been preserving his body, to make this milestone.

You guys think we could get rid of the people making the errors inside our half and putting the team on the back foot for 80 minutes as well? Maybe the winger who can't catch a ball, the centre who limps everywhere and does one thing a game, the 6 who does sweet **** all or the 7 who acts like a 6? Maybe the prop who likes to lay on the ground after making a tackle and can't move sideways or the other prop who dropped the ball 3 times. Maybe the superstar lock who shows up once a year against the Cowboys? Or maybe the coach who doesn't know how to use a bench? Surely we could get a good deal for those players too

For season 2020 onwards I’m now told...
I’m ok with that. This season is done for mine if we don’t get the W this weekend.
How reliable is this info? If true I can’t see why he needs to stay in the 1 for the remaining of 2019. Who am I kidding, he shouldn’t be in the 1 this year regardless, nor should he have the C next to his name.

Most of those you mentioned are very poor examples. The Isaako, Lodge and TPJ ones especially. Isaako has had a poor start to the year, but was good last year. TPJ has plenty of good games for us, he's just inconsistent at this stage of his career. And Lodge has one bad game and you want to get rid of him? Don't you think we should deal with the biggest and most long-standing problems first?

**** me there's some negative & dark people around here today.

It's Easter!
Eat chocolate, be happy.

It's the only time of year that us fat chocolate binging ***** can feel good about binging!

Eat, smile.
Fart, laugh.
Eat more... sleep

I believe we should start with our biggest problems first. They certainly aren't the two players that are being called out in every single thread. Errors and complete laziness are being shown and caused more so by players such as Ofahengaue and Isaako than Boyd and McCullough. The inability to hold onto the ball is the reason we are losing games. Not because of slightly slow service after the 70 minute mark or a single missed tackle or a slip.

Darius is going nowhere. Why would he up and leave when he loves the club and is captain. He has a baby on the way and is settled here in Brisbane. Anybody who thinks he is going to Souths this year or next is seriously deluded.

Yeah we could probably get good deals for those as well, but let's start with Boyd and McCullough.

By the same token, Boyd has been more good for us than bad. Last year, playing injured was his first bad year of football for us.

I'd be happy to let Boyd go despite me feeling he hasnt been as poor this year as some would believe. I just dont think we should subsidise him leaving.

Do you genuinely believe that McCullough's service is only slow after 70th minute mark...? Like, I get it man, you love him & Boyd and will protect them no matter what, but at some point you need to get your head out of the sand.

I've seen you offer some great insight over the years, I've also seen you blinded by certain players. You went through a stage a couple of years back where you made everything about Hunt and constantly declared that essentially nothing that went wrong with the Broncos was his fault, it was all Milford going missing and the forwards failing to give him field position.

You claim you were only responding to Porthoz and myself who were constantly (and justifiably) critiquing Hunt's performances. But that doesn't explain why you're now doing the exact same thing now with McCullough & Boyd. You refuse to find faults in them, you can't admit their weaknesses or their mistakes, you project all of their issues on other members of the team and won't subjectively see them for what they've become. I honestly don't get it.

It's almost like you've been trapped in 2015 since the Ben Hunt drop ball in the Grand Final, like Robin Williams in Jumanji, do we need him to drop another kick-off to release you from this spell? I'm sorry for singling you out, I know we aren't supposed to discuss other members, it's just becoming tiring watching you post the same passive aggressive stuff in every thread.

Yeah I was happy to give him last year because for whatever reason he wasn't sitting out when his body clearly needed it. He copped plenty of criticism and I thought those doing it were jumping the gun a bit. Now at the start of this year and we get these quotes from him that he's feeling the best he's ever felt and running faster than he ever has....I said I would give him 5-10 rounds til I passed judgement, I only needed 4. He had a whole off-season to recover. We don't really have a last line of defence, or we do but it's pissweak. I just don't see it, he's cooked. The people last year were right, but if we are stuck with him I hope he picks up his game and proves me wrong. But i was hoping that all last year as well.

Almost none of this is truthful.

1. I don't think McCullough's service is as bad as people make out. It becomes inaccurate later in the game but isn't slow. I've been asking for proof for a year now and I've received none. Our forwards slow play the balls have not helped. People talk shit about him because he's not Smith or Cook. But we can't fill our entire team with superstars.

2. I don't love McCullough but I respect Boyd a lot. The reasons were posted in a thread a few days ago. Them being blamed for everything doesn't sit well with me when others are getting away with being much worse. I've called for Boyd to be moved from fullback numerous times as well. But it always gets forgotten because I don't join in on the circle jerk. Things like Boyd intentionally falling over and going for dummies after five players decided not to tackle as well, people wishing injury on them, people saying Boyd won't get a job when he retires, daddy jokes, saying McCullough is the worst hooker in the game or even that we are losing because of these two. These stupid opinions are what I respond to. Have I been wrong? Maybe, but few people engage and attempt to prove otherwise. Instead they choose to not bother replying or repeat their opinion over and over.

3. I made everything about Hunt? That's a joke. I responded to you and Port making everything about Hunt while allowing others to get away with being worse in some games. Port obviously had bias because he watched Taylor play against children and thought he was good enough to take over from Hunt and you copy and pasted his opinions for a year. Again, I didn't join in on the Hunt circle jerk because everything had been said. 5 times in every thread at the same time. Because I called you and Port out numerous times for repeating yourselves and stated that Milford was doing the same things Hunt was, even went on to prove that Hunt was directly involved in more tries and people decided I was backing Hunt when all I asked for was the double standards to end and the people who repeated themselves numerous times to stop doing so.

4. When it became apparent that nothing was going to be done about said posters repeating themselves, I decided to start posting facetiously (Justifiably) critiquing Milford and made every thread about him. I even copy/pasted a few posts from certain people and changed the names from Hunt to Milford and I was punished for that. From the mods and from people who post on here. Double standards.

5. Now I'm responding to trolls like McHunt (Edited because McCunt was a legit typo) and other people who are doing the same thing for McCullough and Boyd. Is that not obvious or are you being selective?

6. What's funny is that my response is a byproduct of people posting the same things over and over and you're tiring from what I am saying? Why is it that you're not tiring from what others are repeating over and over?

TLDR; My entire issue since Hunt was the double standards and excuses used for other players every week, followed by people repeating their opinions in every thread. The same issue I have now.

Hey look, another daddy joke.

Yes, as if Boyd's the only person who's holding us back! We are close and Boyds a minor issue with other issues more important as you mentioned.
