Meninga too. **** was almost going to break down in tears because poor Melbourne had been questioned in the pregame where they out 50 on the Titans.

Finch defends them like he's still on the payroll, which if he is, be should but the **** out and let neutrals discuss it.

Ennis is my favourite commentator by a mile. He's one of the only guys who will actually call a spade a spade and not ride Smith's ****.
Ennis is one of the only people in the media that has called out for Boyd and Macca to be replaced and he has been saying it for ages already, he must be the only one that actually watches our games rather then spewing Phil Gould talking points.

Some of Seibolds comments seemed to have fired up a flagging team. Hopefully they don't get some form back against us

South Sydney’s Sam Burgess’ dig at former coach Anthony Seibold

South Sydney skipper Sam Burgess has taken a thinly veiled swipe at former coach Anthony Seibold saying “if he has an agenda somewhere, we’ll just get on with it” ahead of Friday’s grudge match. There is little love lost between the Rabbitohs and the Broncos given the infamous coach swap at the end of last season. Barbs have continued to be traded since Seibold and Wayne Bennett took over Brisbane and South Sydney respectively.

Seibold said "not a lot's changed from last year" regarding the Rabbitohs attack but Burgess laughed off that suggestion while Adam Reynolds declared his side were “predictable” last year.

“If you want to delve into it and have a little look you make your own mind up if there's been change or not,” Burgess said. “We had a great attacking structure last year. David Furner was our attack coach and he was very good. We've adapted things a bit more. “100 per cent it's changed. You see the way we play. All you have to do is look through the stats and the shapes that we are throwing.”

The Rabbitohs attack was criticised for being too easy to read under Seibold. The Roosters had little trouble shutting down South Sydney’s go to side — the left edge — in last year’s preliminary final.

“I find it a bizarre comment,” Burgess said of Seibold’s remarks. “But it's probably not his only one in the past couple of months, if you know what I mean. “I don't know what he’s playing at there. But whatever. If he has an agenda somewhere, we'll just get on with it.”

Fox Sports Lab statistics show South Sydney scored 46 of their 98 regular season tries last year on the left. They scored just 25 on the right side in 2018. This year they have scored 27 on the left and 22 on the right. Rabbitohs No. 7 Reynolds said there was obvious change in the way they play.

"You only have to watch our games now to figure out what's going on,” Reynolds said. "Look at last year, we were pretty predictable with what we were doing. This year we have lot of variation and different sets. "I wouldn't say we're playing the same way. Our assistant coaches and Wayne have done a great job preparing us and they've changed things up. It's been a breath of fresh air.”

South Sydney hammered Brisbane 38-6 when the two team’s met earlier this year. The Rabbitohs were in the midst of a seven-game winning streak but have slumped in recent weeks to drop out of the top four.

The match hardly needed any extra spice but the return of Broncos discarded duo James Roberts and Jaydn Su’a. Burgess has been named at prop despite battling with a quadriceps injury while his brother Tom is out for a knee injury while Braidon Burns (hamstring) is replaced by Kyle Turner at centre.
they are all Wayne's words

**** I hope we beat souffs.
The media is milking this like nothing else before.
Fact is souffs have gone backwards under WB, and their attack is exactly how it was last year, actually it’s probably gone backwards a little, so I’ll back Seibs 100% with what he said in the post match presser.
We need a siege mentality going into this game.
If S.Burgess does play, it’ll show even more now then ever that WB has lost it.

Just get it done boys.

You can't tell me afl doesn't have it's issues aswell? I have family that come from Victoria who love afl but still complain about how it's run , but they also love there nrl aswell. I guess they are storm and bombers fans so that says alot I guess.
AFL have had major issues including the Essendon peptide dramas and the massive cocaine use by it's players. No sport is without it's problems. The NRL gets picked on by the media because of it's working class roots and the fact that it is an easy target.

The AFL is run better because it has the resources to ensure the best people are running the game. It doesn't have a State of Origin nor an international scene but will always easily be the #1 footy code in Oz because of it's broad appeal and professionalism, an advanced junior program, very wealthy clubs and backers and a sound template for the future.

RL has always been full of idiots from top to bottom who are simply in it for themselves eg. Cam Smith and Craig Bellamy and whilst IMO is a much more mouth watering product, it will never approach the popularity of the AFL. The Lion's attendance figures have been better than the Broncos on a couple occasions this year. That would never ever happen in Melbourne.

"Broncos discarded duo"? Both left the Broncos of their own volition, neither were discarded. The media will make up any old shite to sell papers. Here's a novel idea how about focusing on real facts like the shit that just went down at the MRC.

These "journalists" (and i use the term VERY loosely) are worse than school yard gossiping girls. Twisting words to try and create feuds or drama amongst people. I swear i am really starting to lose it with this tabloid crap, go work for new idea.

What are you an AFL preacher? Get out of here with the AFL propaganda this is a RL forum for f##ks sake 😤

I still haven't got my head around Seibs and some of the comments he makes publicly. Is he a coach who is feeling the pressure of leading the highest profile RL club in the world or a buffoon with a limited frontal lobe. A bit of both, I suspect.

Who is preaching? I haven't watched an entire game of AFL since my son adorned the Wilston Grange jumper in Under 18s. That was almost ten years ago!! I clearly stated that RL is a much better product. I am just preaching the facts which granted doesn't go down well in a RL crowd.

If only Ribot and co had won the war!! We would be in a much more professional set up instead of the "jobs for the boys" land we are stuck in.

The knee jerk reaction to the TPJ crusher was not in the least surprising. The media were crucified for letting off Jurbo and NAS, when TPJ came up with his stupid tackle they jumped on it. All 3 were dangerous tackles and deserved some time on the side lines. I actually think Jurbo's was the worst of the 3, then NAS, then TPJ. Yet somehow here we are with TPJ missing 5 weeks. Thank God we are not in a position that he's going to miss a prelim or grand final. Imagine the outrage then.

The war was lost before it started because of the lack of Sydney clubs joining the SL brand. In the end, it was just two rubbish comps very poorly attended by it's supporters.

This judiciary bullshit has been going on since the '90s. RL is a mug's game and I am one of the mugs who is still stupid enough to religiously follow the sport. Not as passionately though. The passion tends to subside over a game in which it's past premiership winners dealt in salary cap rorts, peptides and underhanded dealings disguised as third party agreements.

Most of my mates ditched the game years ago and these fuckers grew up in RL heartlands such as Toowoomba, Charleville and Maitland. But me, I'm a glutton for punishment and I've always said, in the right hands, this sport could thrive. Still banking on those gracious hands to arrive.

It sucks that TPJ won't be playing this game. I would have loved to see him go after Burgess.

One could go full conspiracy and argue that’s exactly why he’s been suspended. As easy as Pangai can be to bait sometimes, Burgess is way easier and far more detrimental to his team when he is.

Now that Wayne’s in Sydney with a perceived successful team, they gotta get him a home final $$$$$$

It's still a shit game lol
