No wonder everyone thinks we are cheating the fucking salary cap.
In all seriousness this should almost be considered slander and Badel should be held accountable especially as this is not even near realistic.
This is a blatant attempt at creating propaganda to rile up opposition fans to create more stories about how we can fit all these players under our salary cap and create click bait.
I want to know why no NRL club has tried pursuing legal action against Journos when they completely fabricate and over exaggerate figures in a lot of instances which ends up causing the clubs problems with the innuendo that’s created from these bullshit rumours.
Fair enough if it’s in the ball park amount but it’s getting beyond ridiculous now how far they are willing to stretch the truth for the sake of clicks. This is why I try not even acknowledge the exact amount on who is on what as no one really knows. It changes every day depending on the agenda at play.
Apparently Bird is on a million, Boyd almost on a million, Lodge on 800k, TPJ 800k, Flegler turning down 800k/yr, etc. Absolute codswallop. Any fan with a brain knows what is clearly bullshit.
These are the same parasites who claimed years back that Parker would be on $600k+ when in his book Parker actually stated that he got low balled in his final contract as he didn’t want to leave and chose not to have a manager negotiate for him. His final contract was for $280,000k and that was from the horses mouth.
