Do you remember a couple years ago against the roosters at Suncorp we had a clear intent to send the ball wide early? **** we played well, haven’t done it since!
 
We just can't catch a break with injuries. Who is our conditioning coach?
 
Paix is gunna play the full 80 if the nominated bench is anything to go by.

Does Paix get injured next because we are displaying Titans level of succession planning...

With Paix I wouldn’t be surprised if they try to play him for the full 80 but I wouldn’t be surprised they used Hopoate for a stint either at the start or around half time and Joffa comes onto the edge, perhaps even Carrigan.

I remember reading previously a coach of hopoate’s saying he is a lock who could easily fill in hooker with his skills. He is also the closest forward we have built like a hooker so it would make sense. I can’t see any other forward really able to do it.

Or they through reason out the window and chuck Niu in the middle. Niu could be our version of bowen, short and stocky but gifted and determined. I have no idea where the comparisons to Lockyer come from though he plays nothing like him
 
I would probably go with Paix and Dearden as backup, but I think Paix with Niu coming on for short stints would probably be better. Niu sniffing around the ruck could be lethal.

Either way, we're up shits creek. Paix has been training at hooker, but in the trials he showed he still has a lot of work to do. Mainly learning how to throw accurate passes.

At least this team is more than used to Inaccurate passes from dummy half

Wouldn’t be surprised with Niu in the middle either but he is a small guy, unless they do some sort of Berrigsn type move and interchange him with someone like Oates between defence and attack

2020 was always going to be a year where we prepare for 2021.

This was the year where Seibold got more of the reins and tinkered with the side until he found the right one. Then in 2021, that’s when we push for the premiership.

That's likely what they will do.

He will play in the middle in attack, but in defence they will push him out further so he isn't defending in the middle. Milford came through the ranks at Raiders doing that. There have been quite a few players similar to Niu that have done the same over the years, as well. It's not uncommon.

There is no way Paix plays 80. It's just not happening.

Could Croft move to the 9 and bring Dearden into the 7? I’m not sure Croft could handle the defence but he strikes me as a player that could probably play any position ( bar prop)
