I think their are a select few that do care, the only problem is that they’re the young bucks not the leaders of the team.

You can see the likes of Staggs, Carrigan, Turpin and Lodge actually give a shit.

Yeah some look like they care, such as Lodge, but they just get angry and give away penalties by being overly aggressive and get suspended for a few games lol. They care but have no answers, no brains, no clue on how to make a difference and inspire the team.

Boyd’s lack of aggression towards the ball when attempting to score is everything that has been wrong with boyd for years even when he was a star fullback. It is infuriating.

I’m on the edge of giving up on Seibold and I don’t blame anyone for doing so already. I always thought Kevie was missing something but if a change is to be made you gotta bring back the old boys

Yeah that’s true but I’d still rather have them caring and doing too much then phoning it in every week.

We used that "wait catch" style of defence in 2015-6 to great effect mostly, especially 2015. Things is, that style requires perfect coordination of the line, good defensive reads, and excellent tackling technique - everything we don't have this year, or last year, or the year before that.

I am surprised Seibold is unable to coach that. He had last year, and now this year, it is still crap.

We can make good excuses for our attack: our entire back row is out, our 3 strike eapons were out tonight so I can understand thye clunky attack. But not the defence. Nothing therre has changed for years.

Relegation is where this ‘team’ seems to be headed. If there actually were such a thing in this comp.

Maybe there should be. At least it would drive up enthusiasm among some players more worried about their ‘brand’ than they are their ‘performance’...
 
Given how bad the score was against us, me thinks we should be checking on those betting 13+ for the roosters? Has Seibs (or close associates) places large wagers for us to receive the wooden spoon?
It’s the only way that could make sense of all these losses; is someone benefiting?

Your right mate. We are seeing the effects of a shit culture, Boyd and Kahu types. They are not about winning, they are about getting by and getting the $. Seibold has to play his hand, drop Boyd and play Staggs and the bloke from the Titans that is actually doing a good job. Oats or Coats not much difference in D. Milf can be dropped for Dearden in my opinion.

I did, pity the Roosters were only paying $1.17 when I got on.

Lindsay Collins who started on the bench single handedly made more metres than Lodge, Flegler, Ofahengaue, Hoppa and Kennedy combined.

Also he only ran 9 less metres than Haas, Carrigan and Hoppa combined.

Says it all.

That's a team that would just rather not be there to me. Seibold has lost the dressing room.
 
Thankfully I ended up falling asleep on the couch and missed the whole thing.

Funny how things work out like that.

But in general, things like this happen when your whole team is under 24 (except for like 3 guys) and have only played a season or so each. Kids against men.

Seibold will be lucky to have the rest of the season to turn things around.

No one was willing to speak in goal every try they conceded either - everytime the camera was on them, they were just silently licking their wounds.

I'm not going to sink the boot in too much to Croft and Carrigan as they are both young and relatively new, but boys, there's a lot more to being captain than just wearing the badge. I hope they learn quickly.
