OFFICIAL David Fifita signs with the Titans

CM reporting that the Titans have now put 1.1mill on the table for Fifita, whilst the Broncos have said take it or leave it at 700k.
Fifita called Seibold, Lockyer and Nolan last night to say he was leaving then called each of them back this morning to say he hasn’t yet made his mind up. His dream is to pay his mum’s house off.
Tesi Niu also reportably took half of what the titans offered to stay at the Broncos for 2021.

So am I Sproj, so am I. I guess being in Perth isn't so bad compared to Melbourne. Day 2 of 14 and then off to mine for 2 weeks but after that?

The uncertainty is pure crap. You've had a tougher run with this than I've had and others worse still but it's no wonder mental health issues have skyrocketed. I've got mates over here in WA who haven't seen their partners for 111 days and our employer thinks money fixes the anguish.

That's what I was thinking, how many houses in Ipswich does she want?!?
 
Totally get the whole money thing but wouldn't be a good look for him when a lot of his mates (Carrigan, Flegler, Niu etc) have taken less to stay together to try and build something here. Their paydays will come.
 
Here's a summary of what Badel is reporting right now:

1. Fifita told Peter Nolan he'd be staying last week.
2. Titans offered him 1.1 million a season. 5 years.
3. Fifita called Pies to tell him he's joining Titans.
4. Broncos offering 700k. Can't compete on money.
5. Changed his mind again within 24 hours. Wants to stay and play with Payne.
6. Wants to buy his mum a house. Another 400k would help.
7. Tesi Niu has rejected Titans. Signed for 12 months on half the money Titans offered.
8. No deal yet. Still going back and forth. Still dithering.

Can uncle nick give us a few pointers how to get this house paid off? Nothing to do with football, of course.
 
Surely they can make it clear to Fifita that they make the deal better on his next contract and he will be able to buy his mum multiple houses over his time here.
 


He wants to go to the Tits for a year and come back when we have more cash?
