Nah, Perenara hates us. We've had a lot of questionable calls from him. But the Broncos were just crushed mentally early on. I feel like Manly was the real turning point. When they were just robbed of so many things. They gave up.

Love our 2 set restarts, both literally on the first tackle.
Carrigan and Hoppa gave up two really stupid set restarts on the half way mark in the middle of the tackle count, marching them downfield.... makes such a difference.

Go back and watch them, James, the reffing is atrocious. "Victim mentality" is an easy word to throw around, but really, there are a lot of factors, including damaging the psyche of a very young team. Compare that to teams who benefited from these calls who were able to find, establish and develop form.

Also, yes, the Manly game where they tried, got some great tries together and then came the run of poor calls that suddenly saw them losing by 2 points. Honestly, I struggle to stay polite with your response.
