So considering what went on, why the **** is that recruitment guy still here? If we're effectively blacklisted by a bunch of agents, what players have we, and will we, miss out on? This is fucking insane.

Yes but this is modern day Broncos bro.

Does anyone have a list of who the players are represented by?

I know we have a huge over representation by Moses clients. It’d interesting to see how many of those players are being shipped out.

@Big Pete is this beyond your amazing access to facts?
John Asiata - Orr
Patrick Carrigan - Jurotte
Dale Copley - Moses
Brodie Croft - Orr
Tom Dearden - Ayoub
Herbie Farnworth - Foley
Thomas Flegler - Orr
Payne Haas - Orr
Jamayne Isaako - Banaghan
Richie Kennar - Desiera
Matt Lodge - Moses
David Mead - Orr
Anthony Milford - Ayoub
Tesi Niu - Deacon
Corey Oates - Mimis
Keenan Palasia - Orr
Tevita Pangai Jr - Desira
Brendan Piakura - Orr
Kotoni Staggs - Moses
Isaiah Tass - Ayoub

From a quick google search, unsure on others like Coates, Gamble, Riki, Turpin etc.

You’re incredible.

I could’ve sworn there were more, perhaps they have already left , or maybe your list is so current that many have changed due to his dereregistration- or maybe I was just wrong.

Interesting that the 2 biggest contract headaches at the club are Lodge and Staggs.

Orr seems to have a strong client base but other than Flegler and arguably Piakura, his clients are all on pretty favourable deals.

Maybe agents aren’t the issue I thought they were, or maybe the club has addressed it.

I don’t think hynes would be a hard get. He’s on next to minimum wage as a bench player at storm. He will be out of there after this year or next without doubt
Only signed a one year extension with them last year and that reads to me that he was wanting a bit more exposure in the nrl in order to gain a bit more interest from other clubs.

U think 375-450 (depending other clubs' interest) and a starting spot you could pick him up (especially given that he did not get on the field on GF day). I think after the next couple weeks more clubs may be interested though because he will be starting for papenhuyzen the next 2 weeks or so.

If there’s a positive this season it does appear that, unlike our defence, the club is no longer leaking like a sieve with respect to recruitment. The media don’t seem to know what’s going on, I don’t think anyone expected us to not offer Dearden a contract or for Piakura to stay. Maybe I am being overly optimistic, but I believe there is a plan to what is happening and it’s not just throwing darts at a board.

Kevvie has been strong and fixed a lot of things, he won't be stood over by managers, he won't muck around. He's honest and up front and recruitment know exactly what he wants and is getting it for him.

So how do we interpret Kevvie's comments around Dearden? Was it that he didn't believe he was ready for NRL but wanted him to stay and develop in ISC and the contract talks reflected that?

Is the Nolan situation the reason we are prioritising re-signing our current players? Because there are managers and therefore players that literally consider the Broncos off-limits?

It's great that Walters is doing what should have always been done, and thankfully he loves the Broncos so much that no one can question his motivation and integrity, but unless something is done about Nolan, at the very least the club tries to mend its relationship with these managers, it's still a battle with one arm tied behind their back.

Our players have managers too.

Which is fine, it's just that so far we haven't actually 'got' anything yet. Well, not unless you count Dale Copley and John Asiata.

The issue with trying to land a big name half or any spine player for that matter is that we haven't signed anyone else to entice the big name player to the club i.e a Capewell or Drinkwater, Gags etc.
It's one thing to go to Reynolds/DCE/Moses and say the club is heading in the right direction, but if there is no hard evidence of that, then it's going to be a super hard sell for Kevvie.
Look at the Knights a few years ago, once they signed Ponga everything else starting to fall in line. There is no way Pearce goes to the Knights if Ponga wasn't there. We need to get recruiting some solid mid-tier players ASAP.

Imagine watching Kev’s treatment of the halves this season and choosing to come join the circus.
