a few decent outside backs off contract at seasons end:

Wing
Centre


I'd be looking at Tupou, Gagai, Opacic, Kris, Pompey and possibly Ikuvalu. i'd re-sign Tesi.

we also have Cobbo coming through the ranks

I'd trade Staggs and Coates for SJ and Arey/ another half any day of the week. Coates not accepting 500k+ is a blessing in disguise, but the club needs to make some moves in the player market asap.

We need Staggs. We can't have a backline of
1. Isaako
2. Mead??
3. Farnworth
4. NIU
5. ???

And expect to win games. We still shouldn't overpay but Staggs is worth 500-600k all day. He's a genuine game breaker..
 
Staggs is staying. Just hope we didn’t pay overs. Big risk 4 year deal after an ACL.
 
So NRL reporting that Bellamy has said Coates has not signed yet?

Sure but he's 22, it isn't like he is a busted 30 year old being signed to a 4 year deal after an Achilles injury and we know the Broncos would never do that.
 
Also, 360 will be interesting tonight, how do they handle all of this and turn it all into negatives for the Broncs?

Broncos can’t keep Coates even when offering him more and have over paid for a centre with a serious knee injury and bad off field behaviour.

Yeah I'm happy that Staggs is staying. I'd take him any day of the week over Coates. I think he'll be a weapon at 6 providing we get Arey. He might work with SJ too.
