Time to talk Glenn

He's had his time and now it's time to go. He's well past it and offers sweet **** all. We.need a captain who'll lead and the other players will follow.
Throw Lodge in, at least he won't be scared to give them a serve when they need it to hold them accountable.

Wanted him gone instead of Su'A.

Sad thing is, at the time everyone was bigging up Sua his form fell away and Glenn stepped up his. I dont agree he doesnt have the heart or effort anymore, its just all his injuries have caught up with him. He's just not capable of playing NRL.

i know it seems weird to pin it on one player, but **** me we need to get rid of glenn asap. he was responsible for at least two tries last night, and then straight after the final whistle has gone, you see him laughing and joking with a canberra player? that's the sort of player you want leading the squad?

worst captain in broncos history. what happened to his crocodile tears last year? losing doesn't hurt anymore?

I've had an issue with his attitude for a long time, and wouldn't be shocked if he was a big part of the culture problem at the club. Now, his performances are truly horrible.

Unfortunately, we don't drop the right people, so he will keep his spot the rest of the year.

Glen has been a good servant for the club, but if he stays on next year, he shouldn't remain the captain. Maybe playing a role off the bench. Michael Hancock did similar at the end of his career.

I wouldn't make Reynolds captain either. He's going to be under enough pressure just being the halfback and big signing at the moment. The journos will eat him alive if he's also captain and it doesn't improve overnight. (which it probably won't) That doesn't mean they shouldn't be in the leadership group though. He definitely should be.

Haha leadership group, good one.

He should have been forced out in 2015 when he stuck out like a sore thumb as a mediocre performer in a team in great form. How he managed to talk Bennett into not delivering the tap on the shoulder has got me stuffed. So Reynolds is apparently playing bad enough to be given the flick this season yet Glenn was somehow playing well enough to survive 3 years under Wayne despite playing like a busted? And then he puts it over Seibold and Walters as well.

That's the fucking problem with this club and has been for a long damn time: a toxic level of complacency and tolerance for plodders. It's become a boys club.

Remember that time we tried to shop him around because we didn’t want him then made him captain when no one wanted him.

Unfortunately Glenn epitomises everything wrong with the Broncos the last 3 years or so.

Underperforms regularly, his best games are the ones you don’t notice him, would struggle to make any other team in the NRL and is consistently overshadowed by whichever opposition he comes against.

But, he can help pull Corey Oates pants down at training to give the boys a laugh during the tough times so makes him the best option to be our captain...sad times indeed.

Realistically, he should be on gardening leave the rest of the season due to a mysterious juggling injury

And sponsors like Mazda are still giving him cars. He must have a serious talking game, just not on the field.

Great clubman but his injuries are catching up with him, our front rowers provide more leadership right now and his defensive experience is non existent, it’s time to call stumps

80 minutes. 58 metres. The most shambolic edge defense I've ever seen.

My captain oh captain.

Kevvie needs to pull him into the steam room, and tell him it's time to retire gracefully. Pay out his contract. Sit in the coach's box for the rest of the season. Three cheers Alex Glenn, one of the all time greats.

Or be dropped and never play again. Whatever happened to Alex Glenn?

It's his choice.

Remember when everyone was up in arms when we were going to lose him a couple of years back.
Damn wish it had happened.
It’s time to go..Glenn.
