Kikau isn't worth feeding based on his last 2 games for Penrith, 800k? I don't think we need another dynamic backrower, we got a few of those already.

Happy with that signing. If he can stay injury free he'll be a very good pickup.
Agree, i really think he was strong when we was loaned to the dogs so can be quite good for us, good experience but yeh fingers cross he stays injury free

At the Bulldogs where he was getting decent minutes, his two games averaged out to

1.5 penalty conceded
.5 errors
37 tackles
.5 missed tackles
13 runs
110 metres

And that's coming from a base of very low minutes so if he can stay on the field and injury free, he could actually be a very good pickup for what I assume is on the lower end of the salary scale.

He'll be handy on the field ... but IMO he's value off the field and at training will be his biggest asset for us (especially for our young pack)

I know everything as you all know, and i've been saying Carrigan is a prop even before he played first grade. He is a prop who can do a job at lock if we need him to, but he isnt a top tier lock. Thats the end of that.

I have spoken.

You realise you can't actually say that Carrigan is not a lock?.. Tell me why he's not a lock and Corey Parker was?

It's relative to the rest of the squad and the style of game plan..

If we signed a decent prop like Taupau to partner Haas up front, I'd definitely like Carrigan to start at lock.

Again.. You cannot say Carrigan is not a lock.. You can only say in your own opinion based on how you would like your team to play, you would not start him at lock.

8. Haas

10. Taupau

13. Carrigan

He just isn't a great lock, but has all the attributes to be a great prop.

If he isn't starting at prop, he should be coming off the bench as prop.

Unlike a lot of older big men in the modern version of the game, James does some great work around the ruck in defence. Something we lack.

Which is why I think he’s a better option than guys like Taupau and Woods who are terrible in that area.

I would still like Peachy at a good price if possible, or anyone else who the club think can give us experience will be suited for what we are after.

But i like the direction the club is going at. Dave and Ikin really making their presence felt.

Only one i was probably against was Bullemore, would have preffered to lose say Kennedy, but i guess we are after experience (which Kennedy has over Bullemore- especially coming from Souths and age as well)

Gonna say it again, very common over the last few yrs as a fan but I AM KEEN FOR NEXT SEASON ALREADY

You can justify any player at the right price but I guess that's the thing we haven't got right for a long time (getting players at the right price).

So I am happy of they let Peachey go through to another club.

I think we have a fair chunk of cash in the cap heading into next year.

If that's the case the club probably want to wait it out a little bit and see if a big fish lands on the market... like a BSmith.

We could also be looking to keep that roster spot open in case we have a major injury... if a top 30 spot is available we might be able to bargain with a club to take an unwanted player that fills a hole for us.

Also I don't think losing Bull was a choice the club wanted to make... more likely that it was a move that Bull was pushing.
