We always had someone else organising..

We had players that couldn't organize a root in a brothel with a handful of hundreds.

What they did and what organizing is are two very different things.

Let's say hypothetically Herbie does stay and shifts to fullback (though given Kevvie's kiss of death seems a moot point now), I guess the spine could become:

1. TMM -> Farnworth
4. Farnworth -> Cobbo
6. Gamble -> Mam
7. Reynolds
9. Walters -> Paix -> Mozer

I'm not sure how Mam is progressing but Martin at 6 is also a good option, fullback is a good way to get him confident with the contact if he's hesitant which it looks like he is abit at the moment.
Cobbo has the skill but I'd like to see him find his voice before playing in the fullback role.
Herbie should be given a shot at fullback if he's staying he wants to play there, in the last few weeks he has showed some good attributes of a fullback - try saver against Souths, try saver on DCE in the corner, defending Crossfield kicks and making decent runs from the catch. If he left the club to play in his preffered position at fullback at the dolphins and killed it, wouldn't we look pretty dumb for not giving him a go.

Well he is going to the Dolphins after all.

But in all honesty, I think you have to rate him in two ways:

1. Talent - He is up there with Munster, at least he was
2. Output - He is inconsistent and notoriously lazy, so this would put him in the bottom 3 or 4

So overall - he is mid-range and he really shouldn't be.
His talent has got nothing to do with it if his output is **** all… he sits at the bottom for mine in about 14th or 15th. Disgraceful how the same people who mock the clubs administration are still dumb enough to rank players and value players over potential and talent rather than the ability to achieve a certain level of output that is conducive to the teams success. Output is literally what you are measuring on that list but when you mixed it with talent - which to be honest he doesn’t really have anymore or hasn’t shown for a matter of years - he ends up moving to the middle of the rankings you are measuring output like every player should be measured. O-U-T-P-U-T. OUTPUT!

Not keeping TMM?

I imagine yes, he is at WORST a great depth option and at best, a potential 6 to partner Reynolds or go back to 1 if the Herbie experiment doesn't work out and again, all of this is likely null and void now Herbie has had the Kevvie kiss of death.

If you could put Reyolds or Lockyers or JTs or Cam Smith's work ethic and desire into Milford ... you'd have on hell of a brilliant footy player

Effort and dedication is everything. How many super talented youngsters never make it because they don't work hard enough. Cooper Cronk is proof that hard work is everything.

I can't believe Farnworth to fullback is even a discussion, the guy has a horrible passing game.

If we had a 6, 7 and 9 that were creatively causing carnage, we could get away with a fullback that only had a strong running game, that's not the case though.

Anyone feeling sorry for Wayne Bennett? His spine is shaping up to be:

1. Jamayne Isaako
6. Anthony Milford
7. Isaiya Katoa
9. Jake Turpin

I can see Tesi looming in there too.

Sorry for him? Nothing would make me happier than to see that old **** fail and be laughed into retirement.

No news on Farnworth is good news.

The only thing I've really seen from the horses mouth is Fletch and Hindu episode where he admits he's been in chats, but wants to hold off on his decision.

If we keep winning, I reckon he'll stay... I reckon a lot of them will actually. Being in a winning team is cool and all, but being in a winning team that used to suck - and you're one of the reasons it doesn't suck anymore - now thats special.

Imagine how good it'd be for these lads to go from a spoon to a premiership

Wayne won't be able to pick him up for a bargain. That would be Brenko Lee.
