If by success you mean having their horn blown by every commentator as the next superstars of the game, but over the course of the season actually performed OK but not brilliantly/consistently, yes I've noticed. And not too worried.
LOL sorry @Sproj not what I meant
What I meant was in reference to your comment that it works in the AFL because they are excellently and professionally governed, their attention to detail is excellent.
And it has lost all hope of succeeding in the NRL because the NRL is none of that.
“When they made the bid they made it for all the north and to the credit of the bid team, they have stuck to that and haven’t weakened,” he said.
“They’ve shown immense belief, character and leadership which is a great sign for the club. Lesser people would have capitulated." (PVL)
That's exactly the point. No backrower is worth the money, it throws out your salary cap. I cannot see the Titans being genuine title contenders while paying a backrower 1mill+
Spot on about Ca$h Taylor too.
"You can't say he was a failure "
Of course you can, it all depends upon how you define failure.
I'd probably say he was less of a failure, but just savagely over paid. You want a second rower to make strong carries, and score some barnstorming tries.....he did that, so in that sense he didn't...
I definitely would not become a fan of the "Rams" or equivalent. I was following the Broncos back in the 90's and when the Rams came in I was excited because I was able to go to a game locally if I wanted to, but I never became a Rams fan then.
If they came back now I would go to the games they...
I guess it's different things for different people. For me, you would struggle to find anything I care less about than what other entertainment is on, in addition to the thing that I actually am going to see.
It's like worrying about who the support act is for a rock concert. I simply don't...
On a slightly positive note regarding the 17th team, it gives us another team of players to target for recruitment.
What I mean is, it's easier to recruit a player from another club if they don't have to move interstate. It's one of the big disadvantages of being located in Brisbane while half...
I seriously don't understand how anyone can complain at $6 a week for all that sport coverage. It's a deadset bargain, and if/when it goes up some, I still won't complain as it will still represent good value.
But for those who can't afford or justify, the NRL does allow you to stream full match...
LOL, I think we know who the clown is here mate :rofl
I seriously cannot fathom how this needs to be explained - their actions have brought the game into disrepute, and the club and/or NRL have every right to impose a punishment
And being able to watch every NRL game plus any other sport you might be interested in (for me that's MotoGP and WSBK) is an absolute steal for $25.
I used to pay I think $65 for Foxtel just to watch the sport, now I get Kayo, Netflix, Stan and Amazon for the same outlay
