from the players we currently have signed (or likely to re-sign) i would go with this for next year.
14. Segeyaro (if he re-signs)/Paix if he doesn't
once again you speak shit ...
did you go to training every day to see how hard he was working?
were you with him before and after matches to see what his preparation was like?
my guess is you saw his poor form for 80 minutes and have deluded yourself into thinking that means he isn't trying...
and nor should we ... the media can go **** them selves ...
they post 50 negative articles about us since Saturday night (+ another 50 odd since round 1) ...
now they want us to contribute to their negative press ... **** off cunts
Sam didn't have a problem with this "Kangaroo Court" when they let him off with a fine for trying to take Moylan's head off ... but now the judiciary, goes against him and he whinges like a little bitch
NRL boss Todd Greenberg demands answers from South Sydney’s Sam Burgess following judiciary rant
Dean Ritchie, The Daily Telegraph
September 18, 2019 3:56pm
South Sydney star Sam Burgess has been summoned to a top-level meeting with NRL chief executive Todd Greenberg to explain why he should...
from all reports, it seems that a cleanout is coming ... maybe the finals thrashing gave him the ammo ...
if he had have tried dropping Boyd and Macca this year without giving them ample opportunities to succeed he would have been thrown from pillar to post, especially by the Broncos Old Boys...
firstly we didn't outbid Parramatta for Bird ... our offer was reportedly about 100k more than the Sharks (reportedly 650k), but significantly less than the Knights (reportedly $1.1 million)
secondly, you need to immediately disregard anything Slothfield said on the matter, he was just butthurt...
they didn't tear it up ... basically told Ramien that he wouldn't play first grade again at the Knights and if he didn't want to play reserve grade for the remainder of his contract, he was free to leave.
Ramien decided to seek a new club rather than rot away in reserve grade
remember Boyd has an option in his favour for next season ... so if he decides to retire, he won't take up that option, therefore (in theory, because who knows with the amateurish NRL) we won't need to carry any of his contract on our cap.
GI was different because he still had a year to go on...
