Most of the top sides have a fullback on similar money to Walsh. The Roosters won back to back premierships with Teddy on a million a season (smaller salary cap too) Edwards at the Panthers and Paps at the Storm are reportedly both on 950k or more

I have no doubt that 5 million also includes an upgrade on his 2025 contract... So in reality is is 5 million over 5 years. We also have to remember that the cap goes up each year for the next couple of years
