He’ll fit that role but he’s a step or two above all those names mentioned when they joined our club and maybe he’s the real front row leader Haas has needed to start with all this time. I really do think Haas needs a big leader next to him on the field to take all the focus off of himself.

Those of you who play supercoach will be able to interpret these figures easily. A PPM of over 1 is great. He's always been great and has now in recent times become underrated due to Des shifting him to bench and reducing his minutes.

Des torpedoed Taupau's career with dropping him to the bench and limiting his minutes. I don't really blame Taupau. He's still got a great work rate and provides impact with his runs. Also yep, he seems like a good leader who works hard and will lead by example.

Shall we just start him with Haas and keep Flegler on the bench?

My bad, didn't realise Sailor is 25 years old now.. just assumed he was around 22. Agree, not a huge difference.. But I do think Sailor does have more upside in general over the next 5 years.

He has better long term prospects. It's the start of a career. Martin was always just a short term solution whereas Sailor could be with us for the next 10 years.

Sailor is dope. Keen to see him play this year. Will take an injury or two for it to happen.. but injuries are almost guaranteed in the NRL. In my view for our squad he is a fullback and halves back up. We have enough cover in the centre wings.

Yup. Worth offering him near minimum wage to stay just to see if he bites.. But really.. That's just another way of letting him go.
