Last year our pack was running as...well, a pack. Bullying teams up the middle because they were always one on one because they were all running for each play. That caused edges to jam in against us leading to space out wide.
This year we're back to one-out running and haven't adjusted...
Patston looked good in the trials and (from what others have posted) has seemed to kick on a bit over the course of this year in Cup - does he deserve a jumper? Would he be worse than our other options?
The NRL saw what happened when a player was - correctly - binned in Origin I. NSW could have killed someone on Wednesday night and no-one would have gotten sent, not in a decider. It's a farce.
Yeah I'm in the same boat. Even with playing like dogshit we have been in most games up to our ears. One or two flunked opportunities have been the difference between a win or a loss in more than a couple of games, and we could very easily still have been well-entrenched in the 8...
Second row is a struggle as well tbf. Nanai and some sort of Cotter/Capewell/Kaufusi...... Compare and contrast with Angus and Liam. Chalk, meet cheese.
Think I'm done with the NRL, honestly. I get no joy from watching anymore. Klein could not have gifted the Blues the series more. Billy's selections were off-base and the Blues no doubt stronger, but the way those games were "managed" was sickening. I don't know how much more I can cop...
End of year review will be interesting. From shoulda/coulda/woulda won a GF to missing the 8 is simply not good enough despite the injury toll. Heads should and must roll.
How did we go with the ones we did kick short? That start completely destroyed any confidence that Qld team had and they were running on fumes from 15mins in.
100%. It won't be as blatant as it would if the decider was in Sydney - I mean, Suncorp will sell out either way, let's be honest - but for TV views, another Queensland series win won't be the desired outcome, not tonight anyway...
This is ridiculous.
If Locky doesn't get whacked by Beale we win that year in the early 10's...that's not on Bennett.
Bennett didn't let Thurston run around like a headless chook with 5 seconds on the clock in 2015, either.
Give Bennett the teams and stability that Craig's had over the past 14...
Is it? Pretty sure we could list out a number of guys who have gone to other clubs on overs in recent years and it'd outdo most other clubs' lists.
Calling @Sproj , calling @Sproj
The Dally M's aren't a true gauge of the best player of the year, neither for coach. Any list that has Siebold winning 1/3 the "best coach" awards as Bennett has, is taking the piss.
2 of Bellamy's awards are also from years the Storm were cheating the cap and should therefore have also been...
