Probably because we're one of only a couple of teams that doesn't have a fullback who is at least serviceable.. if you work your way down the coast from Townsville to Melbourne, the bulldogs and us really are the odd ones out... and isn't addo Carr pencilled in for dogs next year.
Any love for Braden Trindall in the halves. Caboolture junior, been in the Qld 18s and 20s teams, off contract with sharks this year, stuck behind Johnson Townsend and Molyan, played half in premiership winning newtown NSW cup team and looked good every Nrl call up he has had. He's ready for...
But you know he is a fullback.. he's supposed to fucking make those one on one tackles when there's a line break. Serious question.. has he made a tackle let alone a try saver at fullback in the last 2 seasons. He seems to take the dummy, take a knee or unsuccessfully try to bump wingers into...
I hope not that would be shit.. they should have to make a tough choice like others do and lose someone... not have them being kept warm by another club until they are ready to bring them back for their own benefit.
Can someone enlighten me because I don't get how these contracts work. If bird has a player option next year but opts to go to another club why do we pay any freight. Surely he's exercised his right to leave and we're done with his contract.
I'd prefer green over kevie. I don't want another rookie coach... don't we learn. Obviously the wheels have fallen off for green last few seasons but he has had success in his time as well... sure he had a great roster but what premiership coach doesn't.. still have to bring it all together...
Not being vindictive but if he signs for titans I wouldn't pick him for the rest of the year. He's good but we aren't playing finals. May as well play someone who's committed to the club and get some more game time.
This is where clubs have to make a stand. If you kick stones you play in qcup.. you drop of the radar then to other clubs and duck your own career because of your own shit attitude. It's too easy just to let them go and throw your hands on the air. Clubs have to start making a contract a...
Didn't wests tigers do a thing where they wore the socks from their junior club in one of the rounds. Why not have a whole round devoted to junior clubs.. the nrl have a lot of themed rounds.. why not one that recognises junior football
