It's a modified game played without intensity or strategy and they are extremely boring to watch. The MAFS Commitment Ceremony would be more entertaining.
Hopefully they'll implement a proper preseason comp in the future where the rules are more in line with the regular season. They are...
I didn't (there were others as well) and I'm not saying it this season either. This roster still has too many holes in it. If they manage to keep their key players on the park, then they are a valid shot at a playoff spot. But if the current trend of serious injury, suspension, off field...
So much for that second innings grit that I was counting on. This batting lineup is so much weaker without Green and Head. Renshaw is a total waste of space.
7-124 are amazing stats on debut. Shame that it will be in a losing cause. Hopefully the Aussies show a little more grit in their second dig. I'm tipping a Smitty century.
Oh yes.... Mariner was very good as well. But he is still hoping for an eventual release and with no immediate spots available = he'll probably be granted one sooner rather than later.
Some club will latch onto Sailor if he isn't signed by the Broncos. Even though it was just basically a second tier match, TS looked to be the only one that didn't belong there. He certainly stood out.
A very comprehensive review of the club's history. It certainly brings back a lot of outstanding memories. It used to be a lot of fun being a Bronco fan. In recent times, not as much fun.
Four straight wins in a really bad comp can turn your season around. Perth are the clearly the best team but the rest are total crap. S. Smith has single handedly turned the Sixers season around but the rest aren't worth mentioning.
