2024 NRL Player Movements & Rumours

The Roosters are losing a bunch of quality players all at once. There is no guarantee that they are heading into success next year. So for any player it is a risk going there and with the cost of living, getting unders to live in Sydney isn't going to cut it even with the rounds of golf and...

    PLAYER Xavier Willison

I think the Broncos need to start throwing their weight around. If the Roosters can get away with what they do and no one even really cares the Broncos can. We have the ability with third parties and business connections in Brisbane to get most of these across the line. Plus we have a team here...

POST GAME [Round 10, 2024] Broncos vs Eels

After the last few weeks that was the type of win we needed. It didn't come easy, the majority of the game we had good completion and got to our kicks. Against the run of play we forced errors and capitalized. A few guys obviously need a rest. Smoothy was good and it may show that running two...

    PRE-GAME [Round 10, 2024] Broncos vs Eels

This, Slater became a better weapon when he was alive around the middle of the ruck. You don't need him being available for hit ups on exit sets you want him up and about on tackle two/three on quick play the balls, off an offload or change of angle pass. Splitting defence wide open and...

    PRE-GAME [Round 10, 2024] Broncos vs Eels

I said the Roosters was our biggest game of the year and it was. It changed our season and put us in a fairly dire position. While exposing a lot of our weaknesses. But it just so happens to now make this game our most important game of the season as it will define our season going forward...

    PRE-GAME [Round 10, 2024] Broncos vs Eels

He actually said "Head to head contact, that's dangerous". So he got sent for a head clash caused by him leaving the ground. I don't really recall 100% but I think the same didn't occur for us when Reece got leveled against the Panthers and literally got a fractured/split open face.

POST GAME [Round 9, 2024] Broncos vs Roosters

Totally forgot he just started with us. He could fit that role perfectly going forward.

POST GAME [Round 9, 2024] Broncos vs Roosters

Yeah I don't necessarily want him taking shit hit ups but would like to see him willing to take them or at least die with the ball as you say. I am not trying to bash the kid either as I think he is an exceptional talent. Just want him to develop the toughness/patience that Darren had.

POST GAME [Round 9, 2024] Broncos vs Roosters

We could always try Delouise Hoiter as a bench centre, wing, second row cover. At the least you could bring Katoni in to second row and place Hoiter in the centre. But I am not sure how he is going form wise or injury wise.

POST GAME [Round 9, 2024] Broncos vs Roosters

Not sure what is but he is definitely contact shy. He doesn't want to go down with the ball. Unsure if he is worried about missing Origin or the facial fracture made him gun shy. Maybe he has never liked contact. But the good teams will be honing in on it if he doesn't start taking on the line...

POST GAME [Round 9, 2024] Broncos vs Roosters

Exactly, this is the difference between contenders and pretenders. We have had consistent bad luck with injuries this year. It's just the nature of footy. Reynolds must be close to retirement, I hate to say it but you would think he must be starting to consider if his body can actually go on...

POST GAME [Round 9, 2024] Broncos vs Roosters

We can't win a premiership playing this type of footy that's for sure.

COMPLETE [Round 9, 2024] Broncos vs Roosters

Walsh having his worst game tonight. As much as he can win games he can lose them. He just has to stop trying to win the game every play. Build into it mate for peets sake.

    PRE-GAME [Round 9, 2024] Broncos vs Roosters

Biggest game of the year so far tonight boys. The Vegas rematch and probably the first game since that squad has been together. We are fully fit apart from niggles. It's a huge chance to stamp our dominance and propel us into the midseason. The Roosters are first rate competition. We need to...

PRE-GAME [Round 8, 2024] Broncos vs Wests Tigers

I think Mozer has some good examples of why not to go running off to other teams chasing a quick start. Olaupu is the prime example, moves to play prefered position quickly, plays there too early, gets moved to the position that we told him is his best position, again before his body is ready...

PRE-GAME [Round 8, 2024] Broncos vs Wests Tigers

Good to see you are still around @Huge. Doing well thankyou, hope you are also. Yes, I do remember you are not above admitting any potential wrongs. Any thoughts on the Broncos this year?

PRE-GAME [Round 8, 2024] Broncos vs Wests Tigers

It's got me missing @Huge . Loved a good argument and would never give an inch. The forum is smelling blood, Tiger blood. So a few are itching for it, good to see haha.

PRE-GAME [Round 8, 2024] Broncos vs Wests Tigers

I think Kev has made the right call with resting Cobbo and Mam. Both have been playing well and are deserving of a rest to overcome niggles. Our Bench is the strongest we have had all year, having Sailor on the bench hasn't really added much but you could argue with Reynolds returning from...

Welcome to the forum mate, look forward to hearing your thoughts on the Broncos. You already sound like a great bloke from your choice in teams haha.
