FMD Marnus is worse than Siraj with his appeals. If he's ever captain he'll burn our 3 DRSs in the first half hour.

Can't wait for this 5th day to start. Perfect bowling conditions, temp wise. A bit more humidity would be nice to help with the swing but I think hitting the pitch is what we have to do and Gary hopefully comes into his own. India probably try and turn this into a 1 dayer type run chase by...

Hyperextension is when the elbow is bent backwards beyond the normal range of motion. When measuring it in relation to a bowling action the hyperextension creates a negative angle, so if Bumrah had an elbow extension or flex of 10 degrees and a hyperextension of 10 degrees it's not a 20 degree...

FMD I know its a hyperextension. Doesn't matter. If it's beyond the 15 degrees it's not a legal bowling action. I don't think its deliberate it is what it is. Chucking. IMO I posted the ICC def , that's how I read it.

    CRICKET Australia v India Summer

International Cricket Council (ICC) defines an illegal bowling action as when a bowler's elbow extends more than 15 degrees from the point their arm reaches horizontal until the ball is released. This is known as elbow hyperextension.

Bent beyond 15 degrees and it then straightens. I'm pretty sure that's text book chucking

15 degrees is the allowance for hyperextention. The only thing allowing him to bowl is fear of the shitstorm that would follow.

    CRICKET Australia v India Summer

Tricky situation for Australia here. We want to push on and leave enough time for our bowlers to rest but also have enough time and runs to get India out. Pressure all on us to chase the win and could easily make ourselves vulnerable to a loss. Terrific test match .
