I still think Kahu lacks the speed to be on the Wing. He should be in the centers giving the finishing pass to Oates, while Jimmy and David run the right edge. That's just my opinion though.
I understand our Wings are stacked but he can play Center aswell can't he? Didn't he cover Opacic last year or has my mind eluded me? In any case I would much rather him in the Centers over Moga.
Yes! He's been one of our most consistent backs (if not players in general) each week he seems to improve on the last. His defence, attack and general hunger for work should be the bench mark for the rest of our backline.
Simple. Drop Moga. Slide Kahu to Left Center. Oates and Mead to the Wing.
Moga has a good start and slumps off. Mead has a terrible start (WCC) and improves.
He has faced selection dilemmas throughout his 40-year coaching career yet Wayne Bennett admits the prospect of dropping David Mead ahead...
I'd have to say he's a 15 minute (max) player after that it's all down hill. In that game against the Titans I literally watched him take two sets to walk back on side. If I saw that as a coach I'd have dropped him for the next round for sure.
I'd have to go James Gavet, of all the games I've seen him play (which isn't many) for his size he doesn't run hard he's lazy around the ruck and he gasses way to easily oh and like most Warriors players he has feet for hands.
Even if Benji comes in to the bench with a two drop ball policy with Milf I'd be happy. As for Lodge I don't think he's actually allowed to play for the Broncos yet/if at all.
