He was only stating a fact though, not sure why you're getting worked up over it? Turpin is from Ipswich, the Broncos are from Brisbane. That's all he said, regardless of your inflection.
This is getting off topic mate.
Why are you going after @1910? He's a great poster with an abundance of NRL knowledge. He merely stated that Turpin is from Ipswich when you spoke about bringing up local talent. Technically he's right and wouldn't have known about your specifications (fruit flies?) regarding what you classify...
But is Turpin God?
I thought he went ok and definitely improved our attack in certain ways. Happy to have him in the side with Segeyaro to provide some additional lift from the bench. McCullough's reign in the 9 may possibly be over but it's way too early to make that call.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist, you're not a conspiracy theorist. I'm just stating my opinion on the hooker scenario. We win that match, with or without Turpin. That's not an agenda, it's a fact . Manly were cooked, we win that game 100% of the time, every time.
Let's see if your post holds up...
You edited my post to suit your agenda. I agree with some of your posts but our hooker wasn't the reason we won that game.
All good mate, just stating my opinion.
Turpin's real test is next week. Let's see how you rate him if we lose...
As our buddy @Huge has always maintained, he's a natural footballer. His loss will be missed and we're worse off without him.
One game on his preferred side and we lose him for the season. Damn.
Hopefully the team rallies around him and builds on tonight's performance.
Shhhh, you're pointing out their inconsistences man. They have an agenda and goddamn do they have a right to post it.
Turpin was amazing tonight but in no way was he responsible for that win. This whole thread is just a "person" trying to rationale their agenda.
The OP has now made multiple...
One more than the opposition fullback. It's all relative anyway to how the rest of the team plays. Mate, I know you're just a fan like all of us, but you're fundamentally wrong here, just own it.
Boyd had a good game, hopefully season changing.
All those bombs were spirals that are difficult to take, in this match he fell backwards but got straight back up afterwards and made meters. Would you rather a knock on?
You have your opinion, I have mine, that's cool. I just feel like you're bending the truth a little to suit your agenda in...
You admitted my point though, that Boyd had a good game. I'd like to see the crucial missed tackles though. I can think of maybe one but I don't believe he could've done much in that scenario. I'm just happy for the win and an improvement in the team overall.
His goal line D was pretty good tonight, I thought it highlighted that he may have been working on it. Next match will be the real test though, obviously.
I don't know honestly, but having a weekend of 80 minute games on one field is definitely a stupid thing to do. If you watched the previous match you would've noticed the turf being ripped up on many occasions, surely that's not a good thing?
Save that spectacle for the 9's.
