Madden needs to step up now. Every time he gets a crack he's on notice to show he can take over from Reynolds in the next couple of years. I'm not expecting him to setup four tries and create three line breaks every game but he's not really taking his opportunities at the moment.

Yeah, he wasn't that bad. Silly penalty early and threw a sort of silly pass, but more on Billy not paying attention. He had some tough carries early on and got involved. Willison smashed him though, playing similar minutes.

I thought Willison was good. Carrigan was exceptional apart from that one drop. He's a freak. Willison needs to play every week.

Happy for the 2 points but **** that was one of worst performances I've seen for a while. Walsh played shit, Oates was shit, Madden was invisible but we never looked like losing. Pat was enormous, Willison was good, Mam was pretty good, most others were ok. Hopefully we get some troops back...
