I'm still waiting to hear what weaknesses of the Broncos that Sam Walker fixes.
Do people just want him from the name alone or what? Please explain why anyone would want Sam Walker in the current Broncos team.
I'm still waiting for ANYONE to explain what Walker brings outside of a bit of razzle dazzle and a short kicking game. Which we have in spades.
He has no long kicking game and is a speed bump in defense and is quite possibly the last big money spending the Broncos need.
I've stopped watching Melbourne games for a few years now. 2 rounds a year down the drain.
If Melbourne Storm finish above Brisbane in 2025, I think I'm going to just lean into it, swallow the hate, and get a membership and just watch their games. Might be the only way to make this sport...
Like screw the jersey, it changes every other week.
Just play system footy like the good teams.
Zero pride in the jersey, we're a free 4 points every season to Melbourne. Not just is the old aura gone, its been replaced by something else. Something not good.
15 years of being Melbourne's bitch. The most one sided and embarrassing stats in all of Rugby league.
Fuckin over it ruining every season twice a year.
"a game or two of bad performances"
Missing finals 3 of 4 years. Bottom 3. Biggest ladder slide to miss finals in NRL history. This year, where every neutral is noting that we look poorly coached and underperforming.
Had we not also done the biggest choke in Australian sporting history...
Still don't know what people see in Sam Walker. He's got a nice short kicking game, and a little bit of elusiveness. Terrible in defense, terrible long kicker, not a great goal kicker either. The last halfback that the Broncos need.
