Aah ok I see. Fair enough. So how I understand it, if you agree with something you give the Like reaction. So no need to comment. I'm not having a go at you. I'm genuinely interested in the correct context to use all these reactions. I've mostly ever used the Like and Smiley Face reactions haha...
I think there was also another instance in another game over the weekend where a player was offside from the kickoff. The ref played on and just told them not to get involved in the play. I swear that used to be an automatic penalty.
Right. So anytime someone reacts with a yawn, it means they disagree? Interesting. I mean, I wouldn't do that myself personally, but each to their own. Why not just say that you disagree and give your opinion instead?
Your only action in this thread was the yawn reaction to my previous post. Also what's with the yawn reactions? Genuine question, I'm not sure why you are using it. You've done it to a few of my posts in other threads too. Do you disagree with my opinion? Or are you bored by what I'm saying...
I do like Gamble a lot. The energy he brings is infectious. I would be happy for him to be in the team over Niu. I guess it's the style we want to play. Two different styles of players, but both could be beneficial to the team in their own way.
It may well be a terrible idea in practice. but Peachey doesn't play like a fullback the way Niu would. We've seen playmakers come off the bench previously and play the link man role throughout the centre of the field. We see other outside backs play a roving role throughout a match, almost like...
Yes, Peachey is a good example. So is Connor Watson. The idea probably isn't to use Niu as an extra forward, but more so as an extra fullback. So we get all of his attacking football, but none of his defensive issues at fullback. Plus bringing a fresh, explosive Niu off the bench up against...
I do agree about the whinging about refereeing decisions. Its why Its so refreshing to see the way Walters operates. He never uses poor refereeing decisions as an excuse.
However, my issue is that the bunker and the challenge system is meant to be eliminating refereeing howlers. But the people...
There needs to be one constant person in the bunker everytime then. Maybe the referees coach or whatever Maxwell is needs to be present each time, and he should overrule BS decisions like the obstruction ruling.
Haha exactly. There have been many instances where this has happened too. It happened in the Knights vs Roosters game too I think. Brailey tried to give away a penalty, and he wasn't allowed to challenge. But then there have been many instances where it has been allowed.
So based on that BS explanation from GA you can challenge anything that happens between the previous play the ball, up to the stoppage, so how come when teams are deliberately giving away penalties to create a stoppage, they are then not allowed to challenge it?
Sorry, I will correct myself...
Yeah, interesting view. I don't think the gap between them is that big either, especially when you start to compare individual components the way that you have. But I feel Walsh currently is, and will end up the superior player, provided he puts in the work.
But my view was more of an overall...
Yeah, completely agree. It's an excellent point you make. The outrage is from neutral supporters. I couldn't care less who was on the end of the robbery yesterday, it was plain wrong. Should not have happened. It ruined the spectacle. Tigers played brilliantly, and they were robbed.
I wish it...
The issue for Niu is that Walsh is just about better than him in every aspect. He can continue to improve though and he has the remainder of this season to really make a claim to be fullback next year. Let's say we make a deep run in the finals, with Niu as fullback, and the combination really...
This is an instance where every neutral rugby league fan would be ok if the NRL came out and overturned the result.
Without that farcical turn of events, the tigers won the game. At the end of 80 minutes, with the siren sounding, without a penalty being blown, the Tigers were in possession of...
