Why is magic round always an away game for us? What's that about? We are hosting every single team at our stadium, but we get relegated to the away dressing room. That's BS. This is our turf, give us back our home dressing room. Why does an away team get the royal treatment when playing against...
I'm rather enjoying Kennedy's surge in form, and I know that you rate him quite highly, but realistically what's your pecking order with our prop rotation when everyone is in top form? What's your opinion on Jensen and Palasia? Those two are also exactly the type of player you love. Good...
Agree. It also depends on what positions they can realistically cover. If you have a player that only covers the backline or only the halves, they are harder to accommodate from the bench, and maybe provide a little less value as a utility. They'd probably be better off in the starting team...
I guess it's just a bit hard to have a utility option sitting on the bench though just for the sake of being a utility because their game time kind of depends on an unplanned injury. If you are going to have an all-rounder on the bench, they have to firstly have a predefined role in the team...
A halves pairing of Munster and Milford would be crap. Milford will be forced to play an unnatural, organising role again. Why would Bennett do that to him again? That seriously can't be the plan.
Brandon Smith, Kurt Mann, Kurt Capewell, Connor Watson, Jack Bird, Clint Gutherson, Tyrone Peachey, Victor Radley, Cameron Murray, Kodi Nikorima, Adam Elliot and Moses Mbye are some other versatile multi-position players that come to mind.
Fair enough. I don't think he is as bad as you think he is. I also think he has more potential than Niu. People were calling for us to sign Tristan Sailor. I would take Campbell over Sailor everyday, even if it's just for depth.
I really want Walters to succeed. He is easily the most likeable coach in the NRL too. Most of the other coaches are all slimy, self-serving pricks. In comparison, Walters doesn't whinge and complain to influence the refs. Instead he is going about everything his own way with class and...
Haha fair enough. Campbell seems a little bit ike a poor man's Walsh. I think he needs to put on some more size though. Just throwing up options. There's really not much out there unfortunately.
The bigger shame is Coates being moved back to the right wing after playing on the left in round one. I was looking forward to Coates and Olam marking up against Staggs and Cobbo. That would have been a great battle.
Foran to Titans means the Brimson to five-eighth experiment has been shelved. With Brimson returning to fullback, where does that leave Jayden Campbell? Would he be worth pursuing given Walsh will likely not be obtainable? Would a spine of Campbell, TMM, Reynolds, and Paix/anyone other than...
