3 out of how many similar tackles each week? It is just an accident and never intended for harm like a cannonball can be.
Beau Champion's injury was almost identical but he was the defender.
100kg's on that lower leg area is a risk in every tackle. We can't keep ruling things out. I don't see...
I think only once (maybe twice) at NRL level and a few trial matches. He has played a few games for the Bears at 5/8 as well, as Maguire wanted to test his skill set. Though Luke Keary and Dylan Walker would be better options if anything happened to Sutton.
It would be very interesting to see...
He is a good bloke. He isn't going to get any more than 20 mins and his job is just to fill the spots and have the options in case of injuries. I think he will have no problems stepping up.
While disappointing, it was a loss we needed. We escaped last match against the Sharks and we were very unlucky to not get a few more penalties to give us a chance. I honestly can't see much different in the wrestling from the Sharks to us but I guess one team usually gets away with more than...
Oh no, bad news coming.
I know this is a huge conspiracy theory. Could this chick have been planted by that rapper Te'o and his brothers have had run ins with before.
He was saying on twitter a while ago when all the nightclub stuff was happening that he would end his (Te'o) career.
I can't see a draft working in the NRL. Our grass roots and semi professional levels are no-one near big enough or supported enough as some major sporting codes that do use a draft system to really work the same.
Many teams invest in scouted junior talent extremely early in their career (even...
They have 4 plays to score points. Overlap left for winger to score, bomb left for winger to score, overlap right for winger to score and bomb right for winger to score. If you can defuse that, they don't really have much else.
You do realise Merritt is a winger? His job isn't to come in and do the hard work through the middle when he isn't required. His job is to protect that wing and his centre, read the defence for when to jam or rush up. I think he did that perfectly against Manly because he helped Goodwin close...
Well I can't see changing the spine being any worse than taking a guy who isn't at 100% and has had a really bad injury who is obviously lacking confidence on his running game because to it. I honestly don't recall any of the QLD spine having any considerable injury issues that has ever had any...
Soward's goal kicking lost them that match to a degree. The Dragons butchered that last play from Soward's kick and the 2 dragons players attacked the ball instead of one sitting back to be johnny on the spot and go 10 metres to score.
I think it was a hyperextension of the knee. Basically 2 Knights players on 1 leg and he was in a sitting position and the weight basically seemed to push his knee down to the ground.
