Thank **** for that.....
Nobody wants to admire a player who is only half as talented as everyone else in the squad, but works 10x harder than most to keep his spot in the team.
**** that guy.
....and particularly in this group who have demonstrated over more recent times that ....they're OK when the going is good.
When the going gets tough(?)
they fall apart and self destruct.
Its his to lose.... re the chance.
I just don't see his versatility working out in the 14 position because of his defensive issues.
unless he supersedes one of his challengers during the pre-season training & trials.........
We'd be better off cutting him loose and saving the $$
I'm on the Kobe train.......I've liked him for a while.
It was disappointing to see the club tell him he was free to look elsewhere.
I hope he can now take his chance by the balls.....
Patty to prop is a good move IMO.
Put him working in a youth centre then.......he can help troubled teenagers.
Skills coach?........other than defending he was a spud.
Defensive coach....I'd get.
I get what you're overall trying to say, to a point. I wouldn't call it panicked, maybe excited(?)
and I would agree that he hasn't got the balance right yet, when to be more chirpy. You want your words and volume...and pitch, to awaken/motivate/inspire the team when they need it. If its there...
Wouldn't you agree that most of the knuckleheads who play in our side NEED to be told what to do.......every play.(?)
There's not a lot of football brain going on out there.
