Is it just me or does the current team lack excitement? I feel like we are missing the gig hits of a Teo or Carroll, the speed and finishing of Yow Yeh or Walker, the beautiful passing game and guile of Langer or Lockyer and the list goes on.
Maybe I'm just feeling depressed about this season...
I went into this season determined to have a fresh approach in attitude towards this season. I wanted to forget any basis's I had towards any player and give them a chance to prove themselves after our longest off season in years. Firstly my initial thoughts were less then optimistic, I liked...
Ok, maybe not forgotten, but certainly has been out of mind. I was only thinking the other day when I heard that he'd been left out of the Wallaby side and the thought had crossed my mind on him as the perfect replacement for Lockyer. Then I read this on the Foxsports site...
Too many rumors are going around at the moment not to suggest that the Storm won't be the only club to lose their points this season. http://www.couriermail.com.au/sport/nrl ... 5867878697
Not that I want any of this to happen, but it shows that the NRL must overhaul the salary cap. Just on this...
Before this season started I suggested that in order for us to make the 8, 2 things needed to happen.
1. No injuries to key players, at least no injury longer than 1-2 weeks.
2. Lockyer needed to retire from rep footy
Within the first 3 games we have had a total of 7 players injured, 1 a long...
I think it’s about time we, as fans, ask the question, where has all the money gone?
I look around our team at the moment and wonder where the $4+ million dollars is being spent. Ok, we have Lockyer, Hodges, Falou, Thiaday, Parker and Wallace on where you would expect the majority of the big...
Ok, after watching each game here are my early season predictions, as always inaccurate.
Broncos – Possibly the best halves in the game (although IMO Smith would make them far stronger). The backs are as good as any in the comp and Norman at fullback could be anything, although ask me again...
Broncos and defensive coach agree to part ways PHIL LUTTON
February 2, 2010
The Brisbane Broncos will put the finishing touches on their NRL season preparations without defensive coach Peter Ryan, although the club has denied he was given his marching orders.
Ryan, a fearless back-rower who...
Resigning Henjak now is IMO perfect timing. The guy is down on self confidence and no doubt starting to question his ability. The Broncos have done the right thing in resigning him as it will take the "job" pressure off him so he can focus on getting us out of this hole. I really don't think...

So why isnt this front page news? Where are all the TV cameras from the NEWS or Current Affair? Why doesnt someone ask the Prime Minister his reaction over the drinking behaviour and aggressive nature of Soccer players? Was the bar tender a...
After 10 rounds the Dragons and the Broncos on the same amount of competition points and same for and against. I guess you can take Bennett out of the Broncos... I just thought it was weird [icon_drun

Just what is going on with the Broncos of late?
This is just getting out of hand and I think that Henjak has a hell of a job in front of him.

Well I guess nobody knows Langer like Bennett, but still nobody needs to know his private thoughts and I think it quite un-Bennett like to be talking about a club legend, true or not. I agree, he does need to leave quietly and without fuss...
They are predicting rain tonight and you know I think that will suit us better then the Storm.
I feel it will affect their slick back line moves and hinder their biggest weapon, the bomb. I also think that big forwards will try to slog it out and if we continue to move them around with 2 passes...

CLAIMS that Australian football was born of a single match played in 1858 are nonsensical, writes rugby league historian Sean Fagan
You've got to admire Australian rules - they will use any excuse for a party.
On top of the seemingly never ending themes...
I think that this is a real possibility and if you look at our matches it won’t be as easy as it looked only a few weeks ago. Yes we will have Hodges back but he has only played a couple of games in 3 months, no one can expect him to be at his best. Also Hunt, TC and Eastwood return and...
This past weekend has shone a light of this year’s premiership in my opinion. Form, attitude, fortitude and game breakers all had their chance and most favourites came up short, except 2. Again it seems it’s a race of 2
The contenders
Storm – Have the strike power and...
Like most of us I was more then disappointed with Sunday’s effort, yes I know that it was Lockyers first game back for a while and there was bound to be some complacency playing the second last team in the comp but should we have played so badly?
I am going to lay the blame (for the...
