If the pitch today is like it was yesterday. India will be batting until lunch on day 4 and then our over-the-hill batting line up will be left to try and save the test against well rested bowlers.
Good luck!
I’m guessing the review played some part in the decision, but perhaps with a lot of players off contract come Nov 1 perhaps there was an unwillingness to re-sign and this could have forced the clubs hand…
Interesting times ahead.
Man…I had us conceding 60+ after 15 mins. I was very surprised we pulled it back, but happy all the same. Hate the Eels, so I’ll take the win any way we can get it.
I agree there is a place for both in the team and that would be ideal, however as this season has shown us if you don’t have the depth, you can’t compete with the top teams. Unless Staggs and Cobbo are putting up efforts like Staggs does last night you can’t have them eating up almost $1.5M-$2M...
Before I type this, I want it to be known I am a Mozer fan. But, how does Mozer get away with ‘just misjudged the pass’. But, if it was Billy Walters, ‘He’s only in the team because hems Dad’s the coach and he can’t pass for shit.’?
At the start of the season I was in the, if we have to choose between Cobbo and Staggs we take Cobbo camp. Now I’m in the we take Staggs over Cobbo camp.
Maybe so in attack, but still missed 3 tackles, most of this front on and wash pushed away by ball runners quite a bit. If he is going to be in the first grade team permanently he’ll need to do a lot of work on defence in the offseason.
I can't go along with these comments. Cartwright is taking on a head coaching role and Briers is returning home. Also at the start of the season you could argue that every player that Kevvie has kept has improved under his coaching.
Remember that big kuffufle about that player that claimed unfair treatment from Ciraldo for being late to training? That is a distant memory now. I wonder how Kevvie treats any of our players if they are late for training?
Yeah, I usually only listen to full podcasts when it is Origin discussion (especially when QLD are winning) and filter the Broncos content each week.
Kempy is usually spot on. I'd love to see him on the Broncos' staff as the Monday review specialist.
Does anyone else follow Bloke In A Bar? Kemp has gone pretty savage on the club, the players and even Walters himself. I don’t know if he reads this forum, but he brought up a lot of discussion points that have been raised in this forum the last few weeks.
What do we think of his comments on...
