Radradra Rumoured to want to quit NRL.

I'm a bit more sympathetic to him. I wouldn't want the rules changed but I can see why he'd consider leaving - the possibility of playing Origin is a huge perk (financially and otherwise) for the top players in the NRL. if that isn't avaialble to him, the benefits of staying in the NRL compared...

    Jack Reed minimum 3 weeks

nasty. thankfully its a pretty simple procedure these days but a detached retina is a scary injury to cop

    PRE-GAME Round 1 - Eels vs Broncos

yeah I can't see Bennett going too left field with the line up

    ODI series V India

its just about getting a good balance. i don't mind seeing big chases of 300+ but you also occasionally want to see a game where the bowlers get on top - it just makes the dynamic of the game/series more unpredictable and interesting.

Smith and Bailey have got us in a very good position here - touch wood

we're never going to win the battle to get Lyon in the team even though it would be great. the selectors have convinced themselves that playing ODIs will mess up Lyon's test form

Who will be our Captain in 2016?

surely Hunt but Boyd would always be a darkhorse when WB is involved

Top Backlines in the NRL 2016

I agree with the rest but Stewart still looks like he's got a little bit left in the tank. a decade ago I would have expected him to be hopeless once he lost his speed but today he manages to make up for it elsewhere. he's always near the action in attack and defence and he is a pretty good passer.

Top Backlines in the NRL 2016

the Warriors are too high because people are seduced by the incredible highs that 2-3 of them are capable of. as everyone else has said they're too high for a backline that will bounce between crazy good and really average

GRAND FINAL - Broncos vs Cowboys

that's a gutting feeling. i hope when the smoke settles we can appreciate the incredible effort for the year

    Stephen Kearney re-signs until 2017

yep, assistant coaches get judged by how the team is going even more than head coaches do. Kearney was copping it from all comers when things weren't going so well previously but a great season wipes the slate clean. I can only assume that he must be doing a good job if WB wants to keep him around

    Where are they now?

that 2008 is definitely not short of drama.

    Worst Coach: 2015 Edition

I dont think it is that simple. Jason Taylor got his job (among other things) because his work at the Roosters was very well respected. he also sounds like he has a really good mind for rugby league when he talks.

RUMOUR Farah to miss Origin III

he's the safe bet. I couldn't see the Blues going with a left field selection at this point. Although I reckon we'll see Farah anyway. he played with busted ribs years back so I can't see him willingly giving up his spot for a hand injury

Round 9 - Penrith Panthers - Pre Game discussion

i've said I thought Thaiday should be a prop in the past but swapping McGuire and Thaiday seems unecessarily complicated.

    Your Anzac Test Teams

its not the worst selection to omit him though. he is good enough but his age and his announcement mean that he isn't in the long-term plans.

NEWS Justin Hodges to retire from Rep Footy

I don't think it is about prolonging his career though. like Hodgo says in the article, it is about focussing and committing to the Broncos exclusively. So if he injures himself again or breaks down he is doing it while trying to help the Broncos win.
