I noticed other "journos" questioning why the delayed binnings weren't a thing over the weekend. Did I just imagine that that rule was only for trials?
So the NRL has this afternoon said they are cracking down on head contact and the fact that there was 4 key tackles that should have resulted in sin bins this past weekend that weren't.
Riki
Gilbert
Mahoney
Luai
What I found interesting is the Gilbert one wasn't even penalised, yet the NRL...
Surely they are getting advice it may not be too bad/is something they can needle at HT, and they just aren't wanting to use an interchange when HT is close.
Or it's just a bad cork he needs to run through
5 penalties and 2 six again in 20 mins lol.
Almost like the bad team is ill disciplined, unlike Friday where the bad team was perfectly disciplined somehow
There was instantly improvement in the Magpies when he came on.
Granted he got to avoid all the defence in the opening spell that Smoothy did when they had no ball, but Mozer did everything we would want to see, which is great.
I think the problem for Redcliffe is they can't get up for any old game like they can that one.
Their attack is still pretty shit, but their efforts in some areas tonight were better and kept the score from blowing out. They kept us pinned on our own line a few times, and started pretty well...
