Commisserations ladies and gents. Hard to stomach another loss like that. It was a great year that should have ended with a premiership. It would have been a great game to look back at the highlights on, but much like 2015, this gets filed away in the never to be viewed again category.
Controversial take but I think Hunt was a little overrated. He was tough, consistent, and by 2008 he was a really crafty playmaker. What he lacked though was a kicking game (outside of his grubber, which was excellent) and the x-factor that Walsh has.

The idea of the best player from the worst team leaving their contract midseason to join the one of the best teams for a short term deal stinks and is bad for the game, but it's not up to the Broncos as a club to fix the NRLs mistakes. Lets get him in and win the comp we should have won in '15.

To win despite a few of the boys having absolute stinkers is a relief.
Haas and Capes were our best. Carrigan and Cobbo our worst. Fortunately I don't think Patty has another bad game like that in him for a while. Selwyn on the other hand is pretty much the quintessential rocks and...
If he can get the target off his back from the refs/clean up his game a little he has the potential for greatness, but I'm mostly peeved at this because we've reportedly paid overs up until this point and it would have been good for him to show a bit of appreciation.
