BHQers, it’s been a while. Disgrace of a season from my Tigers. As bad as the joint venture has been over the years, this was the first time we received the wooden spoon. Sad times.
That first half by Penrith was unbelievable. Not sure I’ve seen a grand final team play better than that - maybe...
BroncosHQ folks, it's been a while since I last posted here. I hope you're all well amidst this coronavirus madness. I was bored sitting at home over the last couple of days, so I put together an analysis of the current depth charts of my two NFL teams - the New York Giants and the Carolina...
Haha I’m currently on holiday in the US so I only just caught the replay of the game last night. That one the broncos had starting on the half way line was particularly bad
Outsider perspective... does the young and inexperienced excuse really hold weight? Last night’s 17 had 4 first or second year rookies, 7 state of origin reps, and 6 others. Seems like a good mix of youth and experience to me
Ben Hunt - talented footy player, crumbles under pressure. Whether he knew it was last tackle or not doesn’t matter, it’s his job to know the tackle count. What a massive stuff up... I honestly can’t get over that
Also, if Bennett is not going to be re-signed past 2019, I would be wary of keeping him around next year. He left the Dragons and Knights in an absolute mess... There’s not much incentive to plan for the long term when you only have a year to go. Plus Bennett seems like an extremely proud...
Condolences on the loss. As I Tigers fan I would just be grateful to make the 8, but the Broncos obviously have much higher expectations. Barring any more signings, I would go with the following in 2019:
1. Boyd
2. Isaako
3. Staggs
4. Roberts
5. Oates
6. Bird
7. Milford
8. McGuire
9. Macca
10...
Haha that’s gold. I’m so sick of the bus analogy. The tigers are incredibly frustrating... beat the top teams and lose to the duds. This’ll make it 7 consecutive seasons missing out on the finals :(
I thought it was pretty boring, so I can imagine it would’ve been even worse for neutral fans. The tigers have no attcking strike power. There’s enough serviceable players to allow us to compete, but when we come up against a good defensive team, we struggle to score points or even make in-roads...
That was a frustrating game to watch. It’s difficulty to tell just watching on TV, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the panthers were going early all night... their line speed was insane, and it’s why the tigers couldn’t get out of their own end in the second half. I’ve always hated getting a...
The fairytale run of South Sydney, JT, and then the Sharks was certainly a suspicious coincidence. But no, I don’t believe in some over arching conspiracy to rig the comp. There’s just a lot of useless administrators, and a media machine that still have way too much influence on the game.
Oh man, that win was incredibly sweet. The penalty count against us was crazy. Smith would just flail his arms out, and the refs would blow the whistle... so frustrating! Even the video ref seemed to looking for reasons not to give the Brooks try. So good beating those cheats, especially in...
