NRL All Stars are going to have some trouble winning this game. The Indigenous side have a strong side. The NRL All Stars forward pack is stronger, but the Indigenous back line is stronger.

On the wing? That must be a typo? In any case I'm sure him and Inglis will swap positions a fair bit throughout the game

3- Run or kick it to Dylan Walker.

Those teams are so bad. I guess it's what the fans supposedly want, but some just make no sense.

I don't think the fans should get a vote, to be honest.

If they want to leave the selections to someone else, they would be better off using a panel of former players and coaches to select them. At least then we may actually see some quality sides.

I just remembered, Bennett is the coach isn't he. Now some of it makes sense, like Beau Scott and Michael Ennis, even though they are rep nuffies (and Ennis is just shit in general).

I think he is a good club player and a hooker most clubs would take but not rep quality imo

I didn't realise the All Stars team was selected solely by Bennett.

That wasn't always the case was it? In years past, the coach would have say on two players and all the replacements but otherwise the fans got to pick anyone outside of the captains of each respective country.

It's an interesting insight into Bennett. While it's difficult to determine who was actually at his disposal, selections like Scott & Smith smack of Bennett through and through.

Perhaps the most interesting selection of the lot is Taumalolo in the second row. In recent times, he's been used more as a middle forward but if that team list is to be believed, he'll be used on an edge where he can be deadly. It reminds me a lot of Bennett's planned move of Thaiday, so the use of backrows could be very interesting.

Pretty sure you're right about selections BP. Although WB has always had more freedom of choice, as compared to the Indigenous team...

Fans were able to select one player from each team to join the Australian and Kiwi captains. Then I think Bennett got to pick two others on the bench or to fill positions. We should do a vote and create a BHQ Allstars team, just to waste time before the season starts.
