Our squad is really starting to look good on paper. Especially when you consider how much money being wasted on dead weight.
A centre pairing of Staggs and Bird is up there with the best in the comp. Lodge and Haas are an amazing starting front row, with Haas potentially being the best prop in the game.
Fifita and TPJ again, make up one of the better 2nd rows in the comp with Glenn being ever reliable. A bench that includes the likes of Flegler, TPJ, Offa is very good also. The. We have young Carrigan who is looking for a break out season. When on, Oates is one the comps form wingers, Turpin has shown a lot of potential as a serviceable hooker. Milford has massive potential that hopefukly will be seen by playing next to the unknown quantity that is Croft.
We have a few decent options for the right wing spot, and all we need is a rookie utility that can give Turpin a rest (Paix?). Our biggest short coming now is a specialist fullback. If we can cull Macca (~450j) Boyd (~750k), and Kahu(~400k) over the next season or 2 that should give us 1 and a half million to upgrade contracts and buy a real fullback.
