Who is Josh Rogers Big Pete Big Pete ? Do you have any info on him?
He's the Burleigh five eighth the Broncos reportedly signed a few months back. He's 26 but in recent years he's really worked on his game and had his best season to date. I think he shapes as a smart investment in the halves stocks and should at least work well with the younger players coming through.

NRL.com has updated their squad information.

Tyson Smoothy and Josh Rogers have been listed as development players with Logan Bayliss in the NRL squad.
Wait, if Smoothy has been relegated to development, does that mean Billy Walters is our first choice hooker? Is he really the best this filthy rich club could find in the last three years of scouring the Earth for a premiership winning spine?

The dummy half spot is a position I expect to see a lot of movement in this season. I expect we'll see Walters and Paix alternate between the starting position and I expect Mozer will debut at some point. Blake is the #9 the Broncos have settled on, whether they should be as confident in him is another question entirely.

Good prospect, any club would be happy to have him but I'm not prepared to hand him a Rookie of the Year award let alone the keys to the club.

Relegated? From Q Cup to Broncos development contract?

Does a development contract stop us from selecting him for some games?

He won't be available until mid-season unless there are injuries.

It's a pretty easy system to exploit, although it will be interesting if either Walters or Paix suffer an injury whether Kev will go with Mozer right away.

Nothing wrong with being obsessed with the Broncos.

Course not, we're all living proof. >_>

as stated, he'd be available from round 11.

however, we still have at least 1 top 30 spot available (2 if Tesi leaves) ... so a good pre-season could convince the club to hand that spot to him

Wynnum Manly have signed Josh Simm from Super League. A wing/centre. Only 21, wonder if he'll get a look in with Broncos.

"Josh Simm is an English professional rugby league footballer who plays as a centre or winger for the Wynnum Manly Seagulls in the Queensland Cup. He previously played for St Helens in the Super League, where he spent time on loan at Leigh and Hull FC."
