Is it written anywhere that Mozer is a top 30 player next year? He's not even close to ready, plus his initial contract covered 2023 anyway. Ethan Quai-Ward, Logan Bayliss and Tyson Smoothy too? I doubt we go in with one spot left and don't utilize those development contracts for players who wouldn't even get a look-in before round 11 anyway. It just doesn't seem smart.

NRL.com has Mozer, Willison and Quai-Ward specifically as NRL signings. Smoothy hasn't been confirmed yet.

Bayliss-Brow is still development.

So - presuming Smoothy gets the go ahead - we have one position left to fill then, and that's likely to be Billy?

I really am not sure how likely this is as this point.

We have to let him go and where is he going to go where they will offer him more money than we are currently paying him? Don't think a team would pay a million for him at the moment, after the year he had.

we won't lose Haas now.

given the change in his circumstances (mum going to prison and having to look after his younger brother) plus the fact that he won't get the coin he was demanding elsewhere.
