Who was number 10 for the Broncos? Had some great moments. Not sure if there's a team list anywhere.
Beni wore 22 or something similar from memory. The kid I'm talking about is second from the left in the photo Wynnum posted.Presumably Beni Allen based off 1 1910 ‘s summary. High likelihood that the same prop impressed you.
He is a Wynnum boy as well.

Another rant...
When I talk of players not being "developed", Bukowski is pretty highly regarded, and even though he's nowhere near ready for NRL, up until now the Broncos haven't flinched with Mozer because Bukowski is coming through the ranks. However, as I noted last week, he was also also excluded from the camp because he's not likely to feature this year.
What makes it worse is that the Academy team were under the impression they would be playing on the weekend against men. They instead rock up to find they are playing the kids, and subsequently flog them. There was nothing learned from the game. It became an "everyone wants to jag a try" so processes went out the window.
These younger players should be back to training with the NRL team this week, let's see if that happens.
Very interested to see if the playing group back up all this talk about connection, etc.Paix: “Madge Demands That, It Suits My Style”

- A clean start for everyone, working hard suits my style
- It is a good feeling to be wanted]
- The easy thing would have been to leave but I'm stubborn
- No one is guaranteed a spot, whoever works hardest will get the job
- It was good to play 80 mins in Wynnum game in, game out
- I was pleased with the footy I was playing there
- I didn't feel hard done by not getting games, would have been easy to kick stones but I didn't
- It would be pretty amazing to get more NRL games
- I just need to be myself to win the hooking spot back, all comes down to hard work
- We want to be a hard working side and if we are, we'll be alright
- I can see us getting back to finals, I want to be a part of it all
- All the 20 9s here we all actually get along really well
- We have a great culture here
- Matt Ballin is a great bloke in general and he has been a great influence because he is a similar style of 9 to me
- Playing a trial in Toowoomba will be a happy homecoming
- The camp was really good and was happy to have a day off after
- The camp was all about connection
- It was about finding our identity and you'll see that this year
Mentality is a huge factor in sport nowadays... not sure a 2 day camp can manifest it overnight though
Oh no, poor Matt Ballin has officially entered “he’s a good bloke” status. Fire him immediatelyPaix: “Madge Demands That, It Suits My Style”

I think the only thing that concerns me is that they've been talking about "knowing Madge's brutal preseasons, etc."... but then it feels like they just throw out cliches regarding it "yeah it's tough, etc. I love the hard work, etc.".Feels like a lot less back slapping, boys are training the house down, best shape i/we/he has ever been in, hardest pre season ever type talk this year.
There actually doesn't seem to be alot of talk coming out of the pre season. Not even a 30 second clip of the training camp. Hoping they've been told or decided to let their actions do the talking. Would be good to fly under the radar until round 1 then come out looking rock hard fit, focussed and professional and make a real statement.
I'm sure there is plenty that isn't put out for the public, wouldn't be smart to show what shapes ect you run for the 16 other clubs to scrutinise this earlyI think the only thing that concerns me is that they've been talking about "knowing Madge's brutal preseasons, etc."... but then it feels like they just throw out cliches regarding it "yeah it's tough, etc. I love the hard work, etc.".
These guys were not fit last year... so I was hoping for less cliche stuff.
I know there were the vomit buckets, but that was at the start when they've all just come back... I was hoping for "player x has broken one of the club's 2km time trial record" or something... to be like good theyre getting flogged into shape... but there hasn't really been much talk about it and now they're into ballworking sessions.
I would also have hoped that there was more talk about wrestling... there's no doubt that we have been way behind the ball on wrestling and the ruck is Madge's biggest point... I would've expected some comments about how much of an increased emphasis has been put on it.
Defence, wrestling and fitness are all the things we need improvement in and I've not really seen much talk about it... recent photos look like the same old running shape inside the 20m and Reynolds/Bhunt pointing where to go.
