Lisfranc 1 time for BTK makes him injury prone ?
Give him a cpl more seasons before you hang that jacket on him .

He might pick up a few injuries as he grows into his body I reckon. No comment on him being injury prone, just a thought based on his size and age.

He's had a few niggles already apart from the lisfranc no? Pretty sure he's had some decently lengthy time outs prior to it. I could be mistaken.

Hmm could be wrong , but I don`t recall him being out for long .
Other than the Lisfranc ?
I don`t follow Q cup that much so I`m not well informed .

Big kid like that needs time to grow his muscles to fit his body .
He still had a boyish look the last time I saw him . Those long levers can work for and against I reckon .
IMO Cardio and mobility are the things he needs to work hard at . Oppositions will try to wear him down then exploit him .

Its the reason I think we need to be slow with him. Once he is ready, he'll be an absolute weapon but he might need some time to physically mature before being thrown in week in, week out.

Just read somewhere that we’ve signed Anderson from the storm, can’t see anything on here.
If that’s the case goodbye selwyn

Looking at this list unless they are wanting massive upgrades we probably keep both Cobbo and Staggs.

Walsh's upgrade for 26 would come from Reynolds retiring.
Mozer would probably get a upgrade with some of the Paix money and promote Bukowski or keep him development for another year til Billy's contract is up.
If Grant Anderson rumours are true he's probably taking Hoeters spot.

Taupau probably retires giving us $225k
Baker should be replaced with someone on half the price and Jaiden Hunts 200k would give us roughly about 825k including the salary cap increase for 26 and what's remaining in our current cap.

Then you got someone like Jensen who could take less to stay on, he seems to not want to leave the place.

That article is incorrect, the minimum wage for an NRL contracted player is $135K per annum. If you replace Taupau, you're effectively only getting 85K

Getting nervous about Mozer. Hurry up and announce

Factor in some of those other players though and you would still free up something, probably enough to upgrade Mozer and maybe find something for Staggs and Cobbo if you want to and as long as they are happy to stay for similar to what they are on now.

Basically, you'd look at getting back something in the vicinity of 'X' for these contracts:
Paix +175k
Baker 175k
Taupau 80K
Jensen 50-100k if he accepts a downgrade
Walters 175k if you can move him on
Madden 130kish
Smoothy 50k maybe
Replace all these bloke with minimum wagers
Total +600k or so

Now I have no idea how accurate any of those contracts are but let's just hypothesize:
Staggs +100k (or no change)
Cobbo +100k
Mozer +200k
Anderson base wage +100-200k
Total = +500-600k

My maths could be way off but there really is a way we could keep all three of Cobbbo, Staggs and Mozer but there are so many moving parts there, including being able to move some blokes on and others like Hetherington not being upgraded or let go as well. But long winded way of saying...it is surprisingly doable.

Staggs I wouldn't upgrade from 700k
Cobbo I would if his form this year permits it but if he kills it this year we probably lose him because we wont be able to match other offers.
Anderson's probably a replacement for Hoeter.
Mozer we need to sign now, hasn't been much talk of clubs chasing him so hopefully he's staying and things are just in the works.

I actually like Mozer and Paix the most. Mozer has amazing game control and his ball play is amazing. Paix has a better running game and is the best option for the bench.

So has this guy got a development deal or is he just on train and trial??

He seems to get a lot of media... but I'm guessing that's mainly because his name is Latrell... so clicks
Train and trial I believe.
