40 Worst Buys in NRL "history"

You cant have Barba in there. Had 1 year, injured during pre-season and only started to get fully fit at the back end of the year, where unsurprisingly he started running in a fair few tries and assists.

I don't see how that changes anything.

Fit or not, he was a dud in 2014. There was so much hype about him, but we didn't get what we paid for. Even when he was finding a bit of form we didn't get what we paid for. He performed against the average sides, but went missing when it mattered the most, especially against the top teams. We played a very different style to what he was used to and as a result, he couldn't hit his best form.

How is that not a bad buy?

How does Joel Clinton not rate a mention? We shipped out Civo to sign that bloke. Possibly the worst sports decision in the history of this comp.

That would be up there with the worst decisions of all time. Not quite among the worst signings though...no worse than the 3 listed.
