A blast from the past

The one Tee posted is the guy in the Broncos mascot at the games.

haha nice, which one? the one in the old school outfit or the circa 2006 kiddies outfit?

The old school. He's also been in the Kangaroo outfit (when Tests are played in Brisbane), and he was in the last round of CATS at QPAC.

Really nice guy, and he can actually sing well. Maybe he should stick to the mascot duties for the Broncos!

That Broncos side was so good Brad Fittler commented that the Brisbane Broncos are the greatest Rugby League club in the world. I'm 16 and have that retro jersey from 1992 I also have all those grand finals we won. 1998 HOLY #### THATS A DOMINANT TEAM

Seems we were stopped 4 times that season :p

I take your point though. Superb season. I wonder if Penrith would have put up a better title defense if not for the death of Ben Alexander. That ripped the club to shreds

They would have put up a better defense, the death of Ben ripped Greg apart and he wasn't able to recover therefore played poorly throughout the year and the season became a test of strength and mentality as Mark Geyer and Phil Gould battled to keep the club together.

Wasn't just Greg who it destroyed, though no doubt him most of all. It rocked the club to its foundations. One of rugby league's real tragedies.

He was also drink-driving and his alcohol reading was 0.14 almost 3 times the legal limit. It was also the night the Panthers were recieving their blazers after their 1991 premiership win. RIP Ben Alexander
